A word about the trip from Pastor Nybo
Whenever I am involved in something I want it to be fun and spiritual and that is how the concept of this trip evolved. Our primary goals are to enjoy the beauty, culture and festivities of Germany and Austria including the Sound of Music and Mozart while connecting with our Protestant roots by experiencing the key Reformation sites of Martin Luther. What would it be like to walk with friends in the steps of both Martin Luther and Maria Von Trapp? We will have a chance to grow in our faith as we learn some of the history of the protestant church, we can sing in chorus in a place known for its rich melodies, commune with each other in joyful atmospheres and sense the Holy Spirit with us as we travel together.
We have customized the trip with a great tour company so that it will allow us to accomplish our goals and have a something for everyone. We are expecting both new and seasoned travelers, families and familiar faces from around our church community. This is a tour with a purpose; however, it is not a tax deductible activity or mission trip. Spaces are limited. If this sounds like a trip for you, complete the back of the brochure and send in your $500.00 deposit per person to hold your spot. This will be a wonderful time.
