Courses offered and Intake
ELIGIBILITY
First Year Diploma in Engineering Admission
Candidate should be an Indian National
Candidate should have passed the SSC (Std. X) examination of Maharashtra State Board
of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination, with
subjects Maths/Mathematics, General Science and English, with minimum 35% marks
in aggregate.
The term ‘aggregate marks’ used here shall mean as follows.
A. For Maharashtra State Board Candidates:-
a) The candidates who have passed SSC Examination prior to March 2009,
the aggregate marks shall be grand total of marks obtained by the
candidate in any 5 subjects where he/she has scored maximum marks.
b) The candidates who have passed SSC Examination after March 2009, the
aggregate marks shall be total marks of 5 subjects taken into consideration
and mentioned on the marksheet.
c) Candidates who have passed Maths/Mathematics (Code 71) and Science and
Technology (Code 72) are only eligible for admission.
d) In case marks against sports activities are given on the marksheet, these
shall be added to the aggregate marks for deciding merit.
B. For ICSE Candidates
a. Student seeking admission on the basis of Group1 & Group 2 subjects only,
the aggregate marks shall be the grand total of marks in any of the 5
subjects from Group 1 & Group 2 where he/she has scored maximum
marks
b. Student seeking admission on the basis of Group 1, Group 2 & Group 3,
aggregate marks shall be the grand total of all subjects from all groups.
C. For CBSE Candidates:
The aggregate marks means the grand total of marks obtained by the candidate,
including all subjects as declared on Marksheet.
D. For CBSE / ICSE Candidates:
a. In case the result of the candidate is given grades, such Candidates are
required to submit the result in grade as converted to equivalent marks
authorised from the institute/Board concerned. Candidate passing SSC from
other than state boards or central boards shall bring equivalent certificate from
maharashtra state board of secondary education (MSBSHSE)
l The CGPA is the average of Grade Points obtained in all the subjects
excluding additional 6th subject as per Scheme of Studies.
l Subject wise indicative percentage of marks = 9.5 x GP of the subject.
l Overall indicative percentage of marks = 9.5 x CGPA
ELIGIBILITY
Direct Second Year Diploma in Engineering Admission
A. Candidates should be Indian National and have passed with minimum 35% marks
in HSC science /HSC Science with Vocational / MCVC Technical bifocal subjects
with appropriate specialization or Equivalent.
B. SSC (10th Std) or equivalent examination with subjects English, Maths(Code 71)
and Science (Code 72) And ITI (2 years duration ) or equivalent from Maharashtra
state.
C. SSC (10th Std) or equivalent examination with subjects English, Maths
(Code 71) and Science (Code 72) AND ITI (COE) with three modules (Sector
Module, Advanced Module and Specialized Module) of 2 years duration from
Maharashtra state.

Original Documents required for Admission
1. SSC / HSC Mark sheet (School score card is compulsory for CBSE Candidates).
2. Leaving Certificate.
3. GAP Certificate if any GAP in Admission year.
4. If the Nationality of a student is not mentioned in the Leaving certificate, a
separate Nationality Certificate has to be submitted.
5. Domicile certificate is necessary for all candidate belonging to Maharashtra State.
6. Birth certificate if Birth place is not mentioned in Leaving certificate.
7. If Candidate is eligible for Reserved Category his / her Caste certificate, Income
Certificate, Non-Creamy layer, Caste Validity certificate as per relevant order of
the Govt. of Maharashtra.
8. Mark sheet of 8 & 9/ Performa Z.
9. Equivalence certif icate from M S B S H S E if passed out from other than
Maharashtra board.
10. Migration certificate is compulsory for other than Maharashtra board candidates.
11. Attested copy of Adhar card.
12. Two passport size photos.
13. Copy of bank passbook (Aadhar card must be linked with bank account).

Note:- If the Social Jus�ce/Tribal welfare authority concerned denies the claim or backward class
category candidate fails to substan�ate claim for fees reimbursement with documents in respect
of his/her category, then it will be the responsibility of the candidate to pay the fees prescribed
for Open category to the admi�ed Ins�tute.
Note:- Students are required to bring Two sets of Photocopies of the above mentioned
documents.
Statutory Provisions:
q RAGGING in Pillai HOC Polytechnic is totally banned and strcitly prohibited
as per the Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act, 1999 and All India
Council of Technical Education (Prevention and Prohibition of Ragging in
Technical Institution).
If any student is found guilty and involved in, or abetting the ragging, strict
disciplinary action shall be initiated against the candidate as per the acts and
regulations.
All the students and their parents are required to submit an affidavit
separately to the institution regarding non indulgence in ragging in any form. The
students seeking admission to the Hostel are also required to submit another
affidavit for the same to the institution/Hostel authorities.

l The Institution provides ramps and accessible toilets for the disabled

General Rules
i. Student should maintain the cleanliness & discipline in the campus.
ii. Students are not allowed to carry any valuables in the campus and the
institute is not responsible for any loss of it.
iii. All the students are required to wear their Identity Card in the college
campus.
iv Students must fulfill the attendance criteria as per the norms of MSBTE.
