RCBS recognizes placement of its graduates as one of the major objectives of its programmes and proactively builds towards creating greater placement opportunities. The RCBS Placement Cell, an integral part of Office of Corporate Relations, conducts its activities through the Director, Assistant Director and Executives, who are assisted by a placement committee chosen from the students.

The primary responsibilities of the committee include support programmes such as career counselling and pre-placement training for students, long term activities such as promoting relations with the recruiters, working on a positioning strategy for short term activities such as interfacing with relevant faculty to frame placement related policies, planning and executing the summer and final placements.

“What stands out in the mind about the days in Rajagiri is the opportunity I got for balanced all-round development. To top it the college gave immense opportunity to take up leadership opportunities to hone skills and develop empathy through volunteering opportunities. The community life of the college is something which is distinctly unique and even after 25 years. I feel I could fall back and speak to my professors and mentors any time I need some help.”

PROF. BIJU VARKEYIIM –AHMEDABAD

“Rajagiri is an institution that continues to provide a wonderful but different learning and life experience to it’s students. For a large majority the time spend as student is truly transformational, at personal level and the way one looks at organisations beyond the bottom line. The uniqueness stems from the pedagogical approach that combined science of management with application orientation allowing students space to question, think and innovate. The environment nurtured inclusiveness and taught students to be agile when they enter the work force. The college has definitely shaped the thinking of organisations across the globe, through alumina who occupy positions of influence in the academic extension activities. The leadership and faculty team at Rajagiri continue to be source of inspiration to many who walked through the corridors.”

P. PADMAKUMARTEAM LEADER – HR, FLAT GLASS BUSINESS, SAINT GOBAIN

“The academic course provided a solid foundation for me as an individual. I passed out of Rajagiri with astounding optimism and reaffirmation to myself that ‘nothing is impossible to achieve’. I will relate my achievement in receiving the 2009 "Best CSR" award of Tamil Nadu for my company, to the insights I had during the field work days. The strong value system inherited from faculty members enabled me to set up large manufacturing establishments in Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Gujarat with high ethical standards. In short, Rajagiri gave me the platform to position myself as a respected HR professional in all the establishments I have been working in and in all the national and international fora.”

MR. NINAN THARIYANCEO, THE DAILY THANTHI NEWS GROUP

“An education in management goes beyond the assimilation of an academic curriculum: it is not merely about getting a degree and the marks of distinction you can accumulate. The best management programs leave no stone unturned to ensure they give their aspiring leaders an ecosystem as close to the real deal as possible. It is in this regard that Rajagiri is different, that Rajagiri shines through. I speak from experience: my years at this great institute have made me a more focused, inclusive and a more effective manager. The habits that Rajagiri cultivated in me have been the bedrock of my life.
