Goat Micro Loan Pilot Project Nusa Penida

¨  The Goat Micro Loan Pilot Project in Nusa Penida was initiated in May, 2013 in collaboration with the Friends of the National Parks Foundation- FNPF (with CEO Dr. Bayu), representing 28 selected farmers who received goats on a micro credit loan basis system with the Rotary Club of Bali Seminyak.

¨  Initially FNPF received from our club the amount of Rp. 64,790,000 for the purchase of 56 goats consisting of 50 female goats and 6 male goats ( 2 goats per farmer), transport to the island of Nusa Penida and each to be medically checked. There were terms and stipulations agreed by the farmers and the club, including all farmers given goats must be responsible for their shelter.
