in-house or in-service this year you will need to follow the procedures outlined in the FETC regulations. It is important to get pre-approval to run any type of in-house course. An event and student applications need to be submitted in FCTMS, as well as the re-quired forms. For more information on these procedures, please review the Bulletin Board section of our website:

During the FETC meeting held in State College on
May 19th, FETC Chairman Scott Schlechter (R) pre-
sented outgoing Commissioner Robert Repard(L)
with a plaque in recognition for his years of service
on the Commission, having served as a
Commissioner since 2005. As mentioned in the April
issue of On Target, Mr. Repard resigned to seek public office; he was successful, hav-
ing won the election for District Justice in Tioga County.

FCTMS Version 1.6.5 Training via WebEx On August 29th, 2011, the FETC will be offering training to AAs on the operation of the newest version of FCTMS. Topics will include: new
officers, annual requal events and assigning officers to them, continuing education applications, CFI applications, entering scores, and how to pull reports. The training will be conducted via WebEx, an
online training and meeting system. Attendees will need to log into the training as well as dial into a phone conference system. AAs will
be receiving direct invites via email as well as directions for accessing both the online meeting and the phone conference. Any AA who is unable to attend the live event will be able to access a recorded
version of the training upon request.
CFI Training Conference A training conference for Certified Firearms Instructors is being
planned to cover the new Basic Course and qualification course-of-fire. This event is scheduled for March 13-14th. Event location and agenda are not yet finalized.

MOTION 1107.03: Motion was made to rescind prior motions 0703.05 and 0703.06 which prescribe a mandatory initial in-service training course after an officer completes the Basic Training Academy. Upon completion of a Basic Firearm Training Academy (Course 1), continuing education credit will be granted for any commission in-service training an officer attends.
MOTION 1107.02: Motion was made to approve the expenditure of up to $5000 to contract the Tactical Practical Medical training.
