RAINBOW SPIRIT January 2011 Official Publication of the Grand Assembly of South Carolina Volume 11 No. 1 International Order of the Rainbow for Girls Notes om e Hart Dear Rainbow Girls and Friends, Happy Holidays! I hope that you are making your plans for the Merriest Christmas and the Happiest New Year ever! Please plan to spent time with your family and friends. This year we did not have an Official Visit planned for December and we neglected to plan for a Christmas Gathering, so I hope that your Assembly is planning a Christmas activity and that you are going to be a part of it. And whatever you do, please remember to celebrate the reason for the season…the birthday of the King of kings and Lord of lords! I have so much to report since the last issue of Rainbow Spirit. Our School of Instruction on August 21 was very well attended. Our Grand Worthy Advisor, Virginia King, gave us the details of her programs and showed us the design for our T-shirts this year. We saw many photos from the Supreme Assembly Session and heard reports from various individuals. Mrs. Hart did a Power Point presentation on the programs of our Supreme Worthy Advisor for 2010-2012. Our Grand Deputies and Ritual Advisors did a round robin instruction of some important points of our ritualistic work. Then the Junior Executives presented a Fashion Show on “What Not and What To Wear”. Special thanks go to our Grand Deputies and Ritual Advisors for their instruction, Alisha Millwood for orchestrating the round robin format, the Junior Executives and those who assisted them (Nikki Perry, Brandy Rein, Heather Strebeck and Marilyn Lipscomb). I hope that you all learned something and that we are all prepared to support our Grand Worthy Advisor this year and our Supreme Worthy Advisor for the next two years. September 24-26 found us on Lake Moultrie for our annual Grand Family Retreat. Grand Worthy Advisor, Virginia, planned some of the best activities ever; we really enjoyed the M&M activity, the games and the craft projects. The Grand Representatives wrote letters to at least one of their counterparts under the direction of Mrs. Metta Holt and Mrs. Michelle Johnson. The Grand Officers worked on their leadership skills under the direction of Mrs. Angel McAllister and Mrs. Jocelyn Lipscomb. During our free time, Lou and Ann Humphries took us on boat rides in their pontoon boat...what a treat! Mrs. Marilyn Lipscomb provided us with costumes and scenarios for our skits and the girls did an outstanding job presenting them on Saturday evening. Mrs. Jocelyn Lipscomb ended our time together with a truly inspiring Praise and Worship Session about the seasons in our lives using one of Virginia’s scriptures, Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. The Grand Officers and Grand Representatives were just wonderful...they participated in everything that they were asked to do, behaved very well in their villas, and helped clean up. The Mother Advisors, Grand Deputies and Senior Executives were equally as wonderful...participating in everything that they were asked to do, caring for the girls (even ones that were not from their assemblies or districts), and helping clean up. Special thanks go to the kitchen crew (Ron & Sue Mitchum, John & Martha Marcucci, and Dan Hart) for the delicious meals and taking care of the club house and our lodging. Mrs. Lavera Reynolds summed up our feelings about this year’s retreat in these words: "This is the best thing that we do." Just a few weeks later we were in Clemson for the Faith District Official Visit on October 9. This is the home district of our Grand Worthy Advisor and we were thrilled that so many were in attendance that day. The courtesy was about “The Top Ten Reasons to be in Rainbow” and featured all the Grand Officers and Grand Representatives in Faith District. Elizabeth Bostic presided over the entire meeting, which is quite an accomplishment. She and the district officers initiated three new members into Rainbow. After the meeting we enjoyed outstanding refreshments of vegetables, fruit kabobs, and other delicious finger foods. The Faith District Official Visit will certainly be one that I will remember because I was surprised by a presentation by Mr. Bob Krause during remarks for the good of the order. He remembered that I had joked during the School of Instruction about wanting a sword because the sword is the emblem of the Outer Observer and I am the current Supreme Outer Observer. So he presented me with an honorary membership in the Marine Corps League and a Marine Corps sword. I was stunned! Never in my wildest dreams could I imagine such an honor! So now I must be very careful about my wants and wishes. I have learned that there are people in our South Carolina Rainbow Family who will move heaven and earth…and the United States Marines…to get it!

Happy Holidays!

Mrs. Lavera Reynolds summed up our feelings about this year’s retreat in these words: "This is the best thing that we do."

Just a few weeks later we were in Clemson for the Faith District Official Visit on October 9.

It was several weeks before we could be together again, but the Charity District Official Visit on November 20 was well worth the wait. We had a delicious chicken strips and fries lunch in a dining room decorated with cows…even the tables had spots! The courtesy was the “Miss Carolina Colorful Cow Contest” and all the Charity District girls were wearing cow ears and tails. They each had to give reasons why they should be crowned “Miss Carolina Colorful Cow” and the winner proved that she knew the real reasons that girls belong to Rainbow. The ritual work for this meeting was most impressive, and we were able to welcome three more new members into Rainbow.

I know you don’t want to miss any of the next events planned for this Grand Year. Please mark your calendars for the Mother Advisors and Adult Workers Seminar on January 8, the Hope District Official Visit on January 15, the Service District Official Visit on February 19, the Grand Officers’ Rehearsal and Irish Blessings Ball on March 5, and the Masonic Youth Day on April 2. Our Grand Worthy Advisor and her Rainbow Sisters need your support! In Rainbow Love and Service,Dedra A. HartSupreme Outer Observer andSupreme Inspector in South Carolina

Among the StarsDear Rainbow Sisters and Friends, I was extremely excited to see so many of you at our last Official Visit. Now we are journeying into the holiday season, and I will not get to see you for quite some time. While you are enjoying this season of cheer, I ask you to keep in mind the watch word “love.” Now, love is something that is very hard to split evenly; it is easy to love those that you are close to, but much harder to love those who are mean or bitter. The task that I set before you is to spread your love, God's love, to everyone you meet. Forgive those who have wronged you and share with those who have nothing. Many people find this holiday season to be quite depressing because they feel as though no one loves them. Show them your love in order that we may create more happiness in this world. It is a lofty goal, but no one said flying to the moon was easy.

Love Always,Virginia KingGrand Worthy Advisor in South Carolina

From Mom Loey Krause:“In Rainbow Love and Service,”

We often sign our notes and e-mails “in Rainbow Love and Service” and, the other night when I couldn’t sleep, I was thinking about what this phrase means. Rainbow Love is easy to see. We see evidence of Rainbow Love amongst our girls when they hug on one another, when they cheer for each other’s academic honors or accomplishments, when they are supportive of a Sister’s efforts in whatever is at hand and are always personally supportive of each other in good times and bad. Most especially, I think it’s obvious during competitions of any kind. Our girls cheer for the girls and assemblies they are competing against! That’s Rainbow Love.

We’ve heard a lot about bullying recently. Any time humor or entertainment depends on someone being hurt, upset, insulted or embarrassed, or made to feel badly about themselves, that’s bullying. Anytime one individual uses an emotional stress or physical force to cause another individual to do something they don’t want to do, that’s bullying. We all need to recognize bullying even when it seems to be just teasing and fun, and be sure that there is nothing that we do that is, or encourages that sort of behavior. Love doesn’t tolerate bullying.

Rainbow Service can be big or small, personal or through a Service Project activity, in public or private, or even, and perhaps especially, when something is done anonymously. When we take attendance I love to hear my girls explain what they have done as a service for someone since our last meeting. I am especially touched when at times they have a really hard time remembering a service they have done. That tells me that service is now such a natural part of their lives that it isn’t set it aside as something in particular to remember. Helping a sibling to clean their room, helping a classmate with a difficult assignment, helping Mom with the laundry, helping a teacher set up or clean up the classroom, helping an elderly neighbor with household or outdoor chores, there are so many ways our girls give service every day.

Our girls learn service as a way of life, and their own lives will be richer because of it.

In Rainbow Love and Service, Mom Loey

SUPREME NOTESOur Supreme Worthy Advisor is Mrs. Linda Lee Little of Canada. Her theme involves all creatures great and

small, especially those that do things that are unusual for them. For example, aerodynamically, the bumble bee shouldn’t be able to fly but it does. She wants the Rainbow Girls to send in their nominations of animals that do unusual things. Her motto is, “That which inhabits the land, sea, and sky determines your future and that of Planet Earth.” Her symbols are the Tree of Life, and Bridges. Her colors are green and blue. The Peace Rose is her flower and Genesis 9:9-10 is her scripture.

Mrs. Little believes in “Going Green” and her projects reflect it. She asks that every day when you log onto your computer, go to The Hunger Site web page, click on the “free donation” box and make your free donation. She asks that we send e-cards to save trees and this can be done at The Hunger Site to donate more for the hungry of the world. She also wants your ideas for “Going Green” using free web sites. If you have a suggestion, send it to Mrs. Hart at [email protected] and she will be certain to forward it to Mrs. Little.

Our Supreme Temple in McAlester, Oklahoma, houses our offices and many Rainbow artifacts; our business is conducted and our history is preserved within its walls. Rainbow Girls built it for Rainbow Girls and its maintenance is important. Currently, it is in need of several thousands of dollars to replace the heating and air-conditioning units. Please remember our Supreme Temple fund when you make your Assembly donations or when you consider a gift in Mrs. Hart’s honor.

The Supreme Disaster Relief Fund is a way that we can help our Rainbow Sisters in time of need. It must always have enough money so that when disaster strikes, we can be of immediate assistance. Please remember this fund when you make your Assembly donations to our projects.

Supreme Sessions occur every two years. The 2012 Session will be in Grand Rapids, Michigan and we will be in Baltimore, Maryland in 2014. Start making your plans and saving your money to attend. Supreme Sessions are a worthwhile experience!

Fidelity Assembly #56Fidelity Assembly has been busy as always! We had a wonderful Faith Area Official Visit on October 9, and were

so proud of the work all of the girls did. Kathy McKelvey joined us that day, and promptly started learning the bow stations! Just three weeks later, on October 29, Kathy served as Immortality for her sister Billie’s initiation! Then at the Charity Area Official Visit on November 20, we welcomed another new sister, Alex Brannen; and Kathy and Billie McKelvey and Courtney Gambill protemmed for the initiation. Fidelity Assembly is growing by leaps and bounds, with a total of 7 new members this year.

We also have the first-ever-in-South Carolina “Raindrop” participating in our Pledge meetings. Kaleigh Rose Willoughby, 4 years old, serves as our Sister of Happiness and does a wonderful job of the station.

Page 4: RAINBOW SPIRIT · Happy Holidays! I hope that you are making your plans for the Merriest Christmas and the Happiest New Year ever! Please plan to spent time with your family and friends

On August 20, we helped the Marine Corps League with their First Annual Flag Retirement Ceremony, by handing out programs and having bottled water available for guests and participants. It was the first time we all wore our new embroidered “Rainbow Rocks!” Assembly T-shirts.

Most of our active members were able to attend the School of Instruction on August 21, had a great time and learned a LOT, which has been really helpful in our work.

We’re doing a food drive for Clemson Community Care to help them restock their shelves after the holidays. Our girls served dinner for our sponsoring Lodge for their annual Ladies Night on November 18, and the Lodge surprised us with a very generous check to be donated to Clemson Community Care food bank, with the food items that we collect. On December 3, we assisted Memory Gardens with their annual Christmas Candlelight service by assisting guests to their seats and handing out programs, and afterwards lighting candles on the gravesites throughout the cemetery. We do this each year for the cemetery, which is owned by an Eastern Star family.

For Clemson’s annual Christmas Parade on December 7, one of our Masons drove his restored 1951 John Deere tractor with a John Deere green farm trailer and we all rode on the trailer. It was decorated with Lodge and Assembly identification, Christmas lights and a big Rainbow Emblem. We had a great time singing “I am an R…” as we rode down the 2 blocks of town in the parade. It was really cold, but we each wore one of the Rainbow colors with a Santa hat as we handed around packages wrapped in Rainbow Colors and lettered with the names of the bow stations. After the parade, we all went back to the Lodge for our Christmas Party with our families, with hot cocoa and sweet treats, games and presents.

West Columbia Assembly #36West Columbia Assembly has been very busy since the last newsletter. Elizabeth Bostic, Rebekah Cruse, and

Elizabeth Poindexter attended our Grand Family retreat the end of September. Mrs. Marcia Wadford and Mrs. Amanda Cruse were the adults who accompanied us to the retreat. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and sunrises of the low country. It is amazing to see the sun rise and set over Lake Moultrie. Our Grand Worthy Advisory, Sister Virginia King, had wonderful activities for us. We really enjoyed the skits during the Saturday evening session. Mr. Mitchum and his group of adult workers provided us with delicious meals. You cannot leave the Grand Family Retreat saying that you went away hungry.

The month of October kept us very busy. First, there was the Faith District Official Visit. West Columbia Assembly, along with Fidelity and Greenwood Assemblies, participated in the Official Visit. The officers of the Faith District did an outstanding job as they initiated our new Rainbow Sisters. We know that Sister Virginia King was especially happy with the work these assemblies performed. The Advisory Board for West Columbia Assembly is VERY PROUD of the ritualistic work of its members. Sister Elizabeth Bostic presided as Worthy Advisor during the Official Visit, Sister Elizabeth Poindexter served as Sister of Hope during the Opening and Initiation, Sister Rebekah Cruse served as Drill Leader during the Opening of the Assembly, and Sister Kendra Boles served as Treasurer during the Official Visit. Each of these young women represented their Assembly well and performed their work to the best of their ability. We would like to thank Mr. & Mrs. Marcucci and Mr. & Mrs. Mitchum for providing our transportation to this meeting. Your vans made it much easier for the Assembly to get to Clemson.

On Friday evening, October 15, we set up for our yard sale. We enjoyed pizza while we waited for last minute items to arrive. We went to the Brookland-Cayce High School football game after we completed our set up. We did not go to the football game just to watch the football game, we really went to see Sister Lauren Rawls in the BC Marching Band. The band presented their competition program following the game. We had a sleepover at Mrs. Marcia Wadford’s following the football game. This allowed us to be up and at the lodge at 7:00 on Saturday morning. Mrs. Wadford made her famous cinnamon buns for us. We used the time during the yard sale to also work on a service project. We stuffed Military Stress Relief dolls while people were shopping. We were able to stuff 25 dolls during the morning. Our sale closed at 12:00. Then we began the process of packing up the left over items for distribution to other projects. We donated the left over men’s clothing to the Oliver Gospel Mission, left over children’s clothing was donated to The

Children’s Garden, left over women’s clothing was donated to the Pet’s Inc. Thrift Shop, and the left over household items were donated to Greenhill Baptist Church for their yard sale.

Sisters Elizabeth Bostic and Kendra Boles, along with Mrs. Joyce Bostic and Mrs. Marcia Wadford, attended the Military Stress Doll workshop on Saturday, November 13. We enjoyed fellowship with Sister Audrey Anderson, Sister Desiré Webb and two of her friends, Mrs. Susan Broom, and Mrs. Martha Marcucci. These workshops are a wonderful way to spend quality time together and have fun.

West Columbia Assembly held its Grand Cross of Color Observance on Sunday, November 14. The observance was held at Grecian Gardens in West Columbia. Those attending were Sister Elizabeth Bostic and Sister Rebekah Cruse. Adults present were Debbie & John Bearden, Trudy Hammond Burnett, Donna West, Amanda Cruse, John & Martha Marcucci, Ron Mitchum, and Marcia Wadford.

Sisters Elizabeth Bostic and Rebekah Cruse, along with adult workers Mrs. Joyce Bostic and Mrs. Amanda Cruse, attended the Charity District Official Visit. Bizzie and Rebekah had a great time at the Official Visit.

Sister Elizabeth Bostic and adult workers John & Debbie Bearden, Joyce Bostic, Alisha Millwood, and Wayne & Marcia Wadford helped serve Thanksgiving Dinner to a unit of troops on Sunday, November 21 at the South Carolina National Guard Armory. What a moving experience!!! The Assembly was given the assignment of serving desserts. This was a lot of fun. There were so many desserts we had to help hold plates while the guests selected what they wanted. We had a wonderful time talking with these men and women. We have adopted two members of this group to stay in contact with while they are overseas. Sister Elizabeth Bostic, Mrs. Joyce Bostic, and Mrs. Marcia Wadford met at Eagle Aviation on Friday, November 26 to tell members of the group from Sunday farewell as they boarded a plane for Afghanistan. The morning was cold and rainy; however, the smiles and hugs provided a wonderful send off for these men and women in our military. There is no way that we can ever thank them for their service to our country.

At our meeting on November 22, we packaged hearts for the American Heart Association. West Columbia will be working with the American Heart Association during the next few months as they prepare for the annual Heart Walk in Columbia during the spring.

West Columbia is looking forward to presenting the American flag and leading the Pledge of Allegiance at the Installation of Officers for Sinclair Masonic Lodge on Saturday, December 4.

We are collecting items for Pets Inc., school supplies for R. Earl Davis Elementary, and food items that can be used for the local Back Pack Program. These are ongoing projects for the Assembly.West Columbia Assembly #36 sends holiday greetings to all of our Rainbow Sisters and adults workers. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Dentsville Assembly #40Happy New Year to our Rainbow Family! Dentsville Assembly has had an exciting and busy season. On Friday,

September 10, Rainbow Girls and adult workers of Dentsville Assembly attended the 10th District Masonic Inspirational Dinner held at the Scottish Rite Center as guests of Dentsville Masonic Lodge. Past Grand Master Jack Marler was the guest speaker at the dinner. Dentsville Masonic Lodge was proud to win the attendance plaque for the lodge with the highest number of individuals in attendance. Past Grand Master Ron Mitchum served a delicious barbecue chicken

dinner. On September 11, Dentsville Assembly had a hamburger and hot dog cookout at Sister Tabitha Simonson’s house in Sumter. Afterward, members of the Assembly had fun singing with the Simonson’s karaoke machine and had a sleepover, which began as an outdoor camping event but migrated into the house! Pancakes were served in the morning followed by a worship service at the Simonson’s church. On September 18, the Assembly participated in a Stress Relief Doll Workshop held at Cayce Masonic Lodge. Sister Audrey Anderson and two of her friends, Isabelle Weston and Taylor Ward; Sister Audrey’s parents, Doug and Janet Anderson; and Susan Broom had a wonderful time making stress relief dolls, also known as “dang-it dolls,” for our military soldiers. Everyone enjoyed the fellowship and a wonderful hot dog lunch furnished by Cayce Masonic Lodge. 144 dolls were made that day by those in attendance at the workshop.

Sister Desiré Webb, Mrs. Rebecca Webb, and Mrs. Susan Broom attended the Grand Family Retreat at Short Stay Naval Recreational Area in Moncks Corner on September 24-26. As always, it was great fun and the food was delicious! Thank you so much to everyone whose work and efforts made the retreat so enjoyable for all!

October was a fun-filled month for Dentsville Assembly! On October 2, the Assembly assisted Dentsville Masonic Lodge with their annual Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser and charity project of providing spaghetti dinners for the children of Epworth Children’s Home, and the Assembly held a Bake Sale for the Assembly’s treasury. Throughout the day, members of the Assembly also worked on their scrapbook.

On October 9, Dentsville Assembly and adult workers attended the Official Visit of the Faith District held at Clemson Masonic Lodge. It was the first Official Visit of the Grand Year and the Home Assembly of our Grand Worthy Advisor, Sister Virginia King. We enjoyed seeing our Supreme Outer Observer, Mrs. Dedra Hart, receive a sword in honor of her new Supreme Office, presented by Mr. Bob Krause.

On October 16, after enjoying dinner at Taco Bell in Rock Hill, the Assembly visited Scarowinds at the Carowinds Amusement Park in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was a delightfully frightening experience for some in the group and a

simply frightening experience for others! When they say, PG-13 for admission, there’s a reason! It really was fun, though, to jump, scream, and gasp at all of the dressed-up characters and venture through the spooky mazes.

The Assembly held a Pampered Chef fundraiser dinner on October 28. A delicious Italian pasta, garden salad, and garlic bread was prepared for the dinner. The girls whipped up the pasta in lightening flash-time with those Pampered Chef tools! Thank you to our wonderful Pampered Chef Consultant, Mrs. Sandy Pruessner, for all she does to assist our Assembly each year with a fundraiser! She is the best! Sisters Desiré Webb, Elizabeth Schofield, and Audrey Anderson were the three respectfully highest sellers for the Assembly’s fundraiser. Congratulations and thank you to these girls and their parents for their sales. The Pampered Chef dinner also doubled as the Assembly’s annual Halloween dinner and party. The Assembly exchanged Halloween treats and enjoyed many various homemade desserts from an adorably decorated Halloween-theme table created by Mrs. Dianne Whetsell, who has a special knack of decorating with a flair. The members of the Assembly also dressed in their Halloween costumes for the evening. It was a fun-filled evening!

Sister Desiré Webb attended a meeting of Fidelity Assembly on October 29 and assisted with the ritualistic work of an initiation ceremony for Billie McKelvey.

November was another very busy month for Dentsville Assembly! Sister Desiré Webb attended a meeting of Newport Assembly and provided ritualistic instruction in preparation of the district’s upcoming Official Visit in January. The Assembly began the month on November 11 with a service project by writing Christmas cards for soldiers of the 819th

Redhorse Squadron stationed in Afghanistan. The cards were to be included in Christmas stockings for the soldiers, which were being assembled by members in Sumter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. We were delighted to assist them with their service project for the soldiers.

The Assembly participated in another service project on November 13, a Stress Relief Doll Workshop held at Cayce Masonic Lodge. Sister Audrey Anderson and her sister, Alicia Anderson; Mrs. Janet Anderson; Sister Desiré Webb and two of her friends from Sumter, Candance Goldstein and Rachel Regan; Mrs. Susan Broom; and Mrs. Martha Marcucci attended the workshop, along with Sisters Elizabeth Bostic and Kendra Boles, Mrs. Joyce Bostic, and Mrs. Marcia Wadford from West Columbia Assembly.

On November 13, the Assembly, parents, and adult workers attended a hay ride and bonfire at Brian and Angie Cooper’s house in Blythewood. It was so much fun! The Assembly rode in a hay wagon well over 100 years old pulled by a tractor driven by Mr. Brian Cooper. Then the Assembly enjoyed various desserts and treats, sodas and a Wassail hot apple cider. Mr. Cooper built a big bonfire and everyone roasted marshmallows and made smores. As always, the event was very much enjoyed by all in attendance. Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Cooper for hosting this fun-filled event for Dentsville Assembly!

The annual Grand Cross of Color Observance was held on November 15 at Dentsville Masonic Lodge. Mrs. Susan Broom prepared and served homemade vegetable soup and cornbread for the dinner. Various desserts were also brought by those in attendance. It was an intimate evening among friends!

On November 20, Dentsville Assembly attended the Official Visit of the Charity District held at Dorchester-Waylyn Masonic Lodge in North Charleston. A delightful luncheon was served, a “moo”-ving courtesy was conducted by members of the Charity District, and good ritualistic work was exemplified by the officers and protems. Sister Desiré Webb provided the piano music for the Official Visit.

December was another busy month and provided the Assembly with opportunities for service projects. The Assembly held a Christmas dinner and party on December 9 at Dentsville Masonic Lodge. A pizza dinner was provided to the Assembly by Clark and Michelle Frady. Thank you for the pizza dinner, Clark and Michelle; it was very much enjoyed by all! The members of the Assembly exchanged Christmas gifts, as names had been drawn by each member at the Assembly’s regular meeting in November. The members were thrilled with their gifts! Also at the December 9 meeting, the members of the Assembly brought Christmas gifts for the Angel Card(s) they had previously selected for the children of Epworth Children’s Home. The gifts were brought in by the members of the Assembly in beautiful gift bags and were placed with the other gifts donated by members of Dentsville Masonic Lodge, Dentsville Eastern Star Chapter, and St. James United Methodist Church in Columbia. The gifts were to be delivered to Santa’s Workshop at Epworth Children’s Home on December 12. The Assembly also brought canned vegetables to the meeting on December 9 to donate to Harvest Hope Food Bank in Columbia. Sisters Halei and Christa Fiedor also brought bags of aluminum can pull-tabs to donate to the Ronald McDonald House for their operating expenses, which is an ongoing service project for Dentsville Assembly.

On December 19, Dentsville Assembly participated in Christmas caroling with the children of Epworth Children’s Home. Cookies and hot chocolate with the children followed the Christmas caroling. Thank you to all members, parents, and adult workers for your assistance with the Assembly’s service projects this term.

January will provide opportunities for many events, fundraisers, and service projects for Denstville Assembly. We wish our Rainbow Family a happy New Year and hope to see you at the Hope District Official Visit on January 15 at Summerville Masonic Lodge. The luncheon will be held at 12:00 noon with the courtesy at 1:00 PM and the meeting to follow. Please support the Grand Worthy Advisor’s Service Project, Animal Shelters, and bring bags of dog and/or cat food. A competition will be held to see which South Carolina Assembly brings the most pounds of food for the animal shelters.
