R U STRESSED BY A DOUBT OF YOUR

SALVATION?

2 Timothy 1:12-“That is why I am suffering as I

am. Yet I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have

believed, and am convinced that he is able

to guard what I have entrusted to him for that

day.”

1 John 5:13-“I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of

God so that you may

know that you have eternal life.”

They knew that their eternal destination

would be with Christ, and YOU can too!

I. TRUE SALVATION IS BASED IN THE

PERSON OF JESUS.

II. TRUE SALVATION IS BASED IN THE

POWER OF JESUS.

Romans 8:35-39-“Who shall

separate us from the love of Christ? Shall

trouble or hardship or persecution or famine

or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: "For your sake we face death all

day long; we are

considered as sheep to be slaughtered."

No, in all these things we are more than

conquerors through him who loved us. For

I am convinced that neither death nor life,

neither angels nor demons, neither the

present nor the future, nor any powers,

neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in

Christ Jesus our Lord.”

John 10:28-29-“I give them eternal life, and

they shall never perish; no one can snatch them

out of my hand. My

Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can

snatch them out of my Father's hand.”

III. TRUE SALVATION IS BASED IN JESUS’

FAITHFULNESS.

2 Timothy 4:17-18 “But the Lord stood at my

side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might

be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might

hear it. And I was delivered from the lion's

mouth. The Lord will

rescue me from every evil attack and will bring

me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever

and ever. Amen.”

IV. TRUE SALVATION WILL BE REVEALED

ON THAT FINAL DAY.

2 Timothy 4:8-“Now there is in store for me

the crown of righteousness, which

the Lord, the righteous

Judge, will award to me on that day--and not

only to me, but also to all who have longed for

his appearing.”
