By this command the first view of referenced 3D-part is determined and positioned. Each additional view will be projected from this base view. Depending on the user’s standard preferences this function can also take place automatically after invoking the first sheet.

The most used function is Rapid Dimension. With method "inferred" the function will provide the right dimension due to the selected element.
