BY ROADMarbella can be accessed both by the Mediterranean Motorway A-7 (former national 340), and by the Costa del Sol pay Motorway (AP-7). A new road link is to be built to Ronda, which will considerably reduce the journey time from Marbella to Seville. When the A-7 road is built to pass underneath San Pedro Alcantara this will greatly improve the traffic flow in the local area. In addition, there is an extensive bus service to all the main capitals and cities of our geographical area.

BY PLANETwo main international airports are available within a radius of less than an hour by road:

• To the east, the International Airport of Malaga is just 45 kilometres away.

• To the west, the International Airport of Gibraltar is located just 80 kilometres away.

Both airports ensure direct connections to major cities in Spain, Europe, North Africa and the United States.

From Malaga airport there are varous ways of getting to Marbella:

• A direct bus service linking Malaga airport and Marbella bus station, takes about 45 minutes.

• Several car hire companies.

BY SEAMarbella has four marinas, including Puerto Banús, that can take medium sized yatchs or macro yachts. The expansion project for the Port of Marbella will allow for the reception of medium sized cruise ships that in conjunction with the new Port services in Málaga will increase the access to the city from the sea.

Finally, the proximity to Tarifa and Algeciras, ports offering ferries, allow easy access to the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla and the cities in the north of Morocco.

BY TRAINMarbella is perfectly connected by bus to Fuengirola railway station, 27 kms. away, and to the long-distance railway station, Maria Zambrano, located in the city of Málaga, 57 kms away. From the Maria Zambrano Train Station, you can connect with the high-speed AVE train line that connects Malaga with other big cities: Madrid, Seville, Barcelona, etc.
