Slideshare

I used this program a number of times,as I found it was easy to use and I wasable to present my work on my blog in aorderly fashion.

In order to use this programme, I hadto make my presentation on PowerPoint. Ithen uploaded my presentation on toSlideshare. You are then providedwith a link which you can embed onto your blog. This allowing you to see the presentation. The process is very quick and professional.

Microsoft PowerPoint/Word Documents

In order to present a tidy andorganised blog, I used bothMicrosoft PowerPoint and WordDocument. Both of theseprogrammes helped me to createslides which I then embedded onSlideshare and finally on to myblog.

I originally produced the above on Word Document, however, there was a problem when I tried to upload it straight to my blog as the colour boxes would not show. Therefore I used Slideshare in order to have the outcome I expected.

Here I produced a presentation on PowerPoint. I found when trying to upload a presentation on to the blog, there was no slide option. I therefore resulted into using Slideshare. This made

Edirol

I used this device to collect myaudience feedback for my marketresearch. This took place before Istarted creating my magazine.

This easy to use and portabledevice, enabled me to record ashort audio file. All the necessarybuttons are found easily, forexample, the record, stop, play andpause. A little screen providesInformation such as how long theaudio clip is.

Adobe Audition

Adobe Audition was a quick and easy way to edit the audio I recorded with the Edirol. It took me a while to get used to listening and cutting each part carefully in order forthe audio to flow. However, as I got use to it, I was able to cut out the bits I didn'twant. For example, I was able to cut out words such as ‘erm’, background noise andlaughing. I found this piece of technology very useful, as I was able to submit my audio as part of my research professionally.

Divshare

Divshare was a useful programme andhad similarities of Slideshare. I used thisprogramme in order to publish my audiofile once recorded on an Edirol and editedon Adobe Audition.

The process was quick and easy and theoutcome was neat. This contributed tothe organised blog.

Adobe Photoshop

I used Adobe Photoshop to produce all three parts of my magazine; Front cover, Contents page andDouble page spread. Photoshop allows you to do many things in terms of altering. For example, aboveI'm cutting out the image, and getting rid of the things that make it look unprofessional, for examplethe flooring. At first it was hard to get a grip of how to use the tools and what each tool does.However, after using it a number of times my knowledge became more familiarised with theprogramme allowing me to produce a much better outcome than that of my preliminary task, where Ihardly knew how to use Photoshop.

This is the main image I was editing for my Double page spread.

Blog

Creating a blog was easy considering it was my first time. I found it was simple to uploadthings as long as it fit to the features the ‘Blogger’ provided. I was straightforwardly able tocopy my written content from Microsoft Word Document, to the blog and publish it by theclick of a button. I was also able to edit post’s even once published a numerous of times, toproduce work of my best ability.

The blog allowed us to change the structure by editing the date of publish. This made theblog look organised. When publishing images, for example magazine covers, I simplyuploaded the pictures straight off the blog. However, I used the embed codes to publishslides and audio files – from the sites previously mentioned ‘Slideshare’ and ‘Divshare’.
