July 9 We will pickup in our departure cities and make our way to the Minneapolis Airport for our afternoon non-stop flight to Montreal. We’ll be met at the airport by our Canadian Escort. (Northland Travel escort will be with the entire time as well.) Lodging for the next 3 nights in Montreal. Day 2 Mon. July 10 After breakfast today we will start with a city tour of Montreal. We will learn about Montreal’s 350 year French- influenced history, which began with the founding of a Christian Mission. Walk through Ville-Marie, site of Montreal’s origi- nal European settlement, and into the Old Port of Montreal Harbour. We will enjoy a short walking tour around the Old Port. Enjoy lunch on your own in Bonsecours Market. After lunch we will enjoy a 90 min cruise on the St. Lawrence River and see the sites and it’s history. Later we arrive at Notre Dame Basilica for a guided tour here. This evening, dinner will be a New France experience in Old Montreal! We will be a part of an interactive 18th century feast accompanied by lively traditional musicians and exciting historical characters. (B,D)

Day 4 Wed. July 12 This morning after breakfast we travel via Canadian motorcoach to Quebec City. Upon arrival in Quebec City we will be met by a local tour guide for our city tour. Part of our afternoon city tour will include a visit to Chateau Frontenac. Here you will learn some of the history and architecture of this iconic hotel. (B,D)

Day 5 Thurs. July 13 Today we travel north to Beaupre countryside. Stop at Marie’s Bread Oven, here you will enjoy a piece of homemade bread with maple butter. In the village of Sainte-Anne we will enjoy a guided tour one of the country’s most beautiful cathedrals, Basilica St. Anne de Beaupre. Enjoy lunch at a picturesque and quaint French country restaurant, L’Auberge Baker. Next we will tour the Isle D’Orleans, which includes a winery, a chocolatier and a cheese maker. We will depart the island and visit the beautiful Montmorency Falls, one of Quebec’s most spectacular sites. We arrive back in Quebec City. We will arrive back at the hotel, you will have some free time before dinner. (B,L,D)

Day 6 Fri. July 14 After breakfast we will enjoy a guided tour of the Citadelle and observe the changing of the Guard on the Citadelle’s parade grounds. Spend the rest of the morning in Old Quebec for some last minute shopping, or relax at a café in the lower city, or stroll along the Dufferin Terrace for some last minute photo ops. This afternoon we will motorcoach back to Montreal for our return flight back to Minneapolis. (B)
