This Quantum Life Workbook was designed to facilitate your work with 5 Steps to a Quantum Life.

For those of you who are working in a group, be aware there is separate Workbook providing information for the Group Leader.

If you are using the workbook as an individual, just follow the steps and write everything down as you are instructed. As you complete each exercise, write your answers in the spaces provided in the sections below.

Step 1. Take Responsibility

1 Responsibility exercise. Write the story of something that happened to you – this is something from your own history, a positive or negative event. Write it as though it happened to you. In this first narrative you are to be a victim of what happened – whether it was good or bad: it happened to you. Don’t forget to tell about the consequences of this event, the impact it had on you and others in your life.

2 Now write another version of this same piece of your own history, but take the position that you caused it to happen, that you’d planned it somehow. Remember to include your experience of the event as well as the experiences of other people in your life who were affected by it.

3 First Meditation exercise: Write about your experience. Was the mediation what you expected it to be? Describe your safe space. Is it the same safe space you have seen previously or is it a new place for you? Was it outdoors or inside? Take a moment and write about this special place that is just yours. It can be a place that feels like home.

Step 2. Investigate & Eliminate

1. What is it you want? Write in detail what it is you want to create in your life right now. Describe it in detail.

2 Why don’t you want it? This is a very important step, so be sure to consider each of the substitutions and any other reasons that come to you. If none seems to fit, write down what the reason could be – this might feel almost as if you are making it up, and that’s just fine.

a. What does your Dark Voice say?

b. What are you avoiding – or what are you getting to avoid by not having what you want?

c. Are you feeling sorry for yourself? Describe how self pity has been a workable substitution for having what you want.

d. Who do you blame? Why is it that person’s fault? Write about the person you are blaming for not having what you want – this can include blaming yourself, if that’s what is true for you.

e. What happened in the past that is stopping you now? Be sure to write what it is that happened and why you are holding onto that event rather than having what you want.

f. What anger are you holding onto? Who are you mad at? Why? Why is it more valuable to be righteous, indignant and perpetually angry about this incident than to release the anger – even if you do not forgive the person – and move forward with your desires?

g. What is the promise you are expecting that will never be fulfilled? Are you looking for some kind of a guarantee that your life will be perfect when you have what you want? Write out the promise and read over your answer. Is this a promise you are counting on? Why? Who told you this promise would be fulfilled?

3. What agreements do you have with someone else that prevents you from having what you want? Describe the circumstances under which you made the agreement. Was it an actual commitment you made aloud, or was it a secret promise that was “understood” but never spoken? Does the other person even know about this promise? (Often the answer is No – many of these agreements are one-sided) You might think there is a certain expectation of you, but if you check with the other person, he or she may surprise you. You may learn, in fact, that the agreement is in your own head and that this person may be just fine with your doing something else.

4. MEDITATION TO ABOLISH LIMITING AGREEMENT. Write about your experience. What did the other person say to you, if anything? If nothing was said, that’s fine. How did it feel to destroy the agreement? What was it like to let the person walk away?

5. VISUALIZATION EXERCISE. Write about your experience pretending you already have what you want. What did it feel like to have it? Were you excited, joyful or relieved? Were there any conflicting feelings about having it?

6 MEDITATION TO ENGAGE THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND, Write about your meditation. Describe the person you saw, noting anything that looked familiar or significant. What did you ask the person? What did he or she say to you I in response to your question? Write down everything that happened in detail.

7, COLLAGE TECHNIQUE. Do this exercise by yourself or with someone else. Write a description of what elements were included in your collage? What do these elements mean to you? Are any still mysterious? What conclusions can you draw from your collage about your subconscious mind?

Step 3. Design & Create

1 MEDITATION TO ALLOW YOURSELF TO MAKE THE CHANGES. Write your old belief before you enter the meditation. Consider how this belief might limit you. Following the meditation, write the new belief. Write about your experience changing the belief. What does it feel like to hold the new belief?

2 MEDITATION TO CHANGE YOUR SELF-IMAGE. Before entering meditation think about your current self image. How would you describe it? Do the exercise. Following the meditation write about your experience. What was the garment you exchanged? What did the particular garment and the experience of replacing it signify to you? How does the new self-image feel?

Step 4. Observe & Give it Form

1 BALLOON OF LIGHT MEDITATION. Write about your experience in the meditation. Describe what happened and how you felt about the meditation. Thinking of your desire now, how does it feel? Do you think you will have it now?

2. If the process didn’t work, your first action is to go back and recheck yourself on the previous steps. In which step(s) do you notice a difference? Write down what you experience and what you discover as you conduct your review.
