Dear Fellow Travellers and Friends,
We have listened to all your requests and due to demand we have
added extra tours and new destinations for 2018!!!
We have also kept some of your favourite destinations as well and whenever possible FROZEN some tours at last year’s prices!
As per usual you will benefit from Door to Door Service at no
additional cost as well as Hostess Service on your Executive Coach for hot and cold drinks and light snacks.
We remain wheelchair and scooter friendly. Due to space restrictions
these have to be pre-booked and limited to three small
scooters/walkers per tour. We do have our own three wheel walkers and a wheelchair on board for your use.
Very important for solo travellers is no single supplements.
Bespoke or private tours can be created, arranged and organised for groups and organisations. Please give us a call for more information.

THE CODE BREAKERS After a short stop at Hatton Country World we
travel down to Bletchley Park where we have a full day exploring this unique and interesting museum
and the vital part it played in the last war (entrance

and finish this wonderful sojourn by having lunch onboard the Trent River Cruise (included).

AND WINDMILLS
Every spring in Western Holland there is an explosion
of colour with millions of blooms emerging. We visit
the famous Keukenhof gardens with it’s “picture
book“setting of waterways and trees, the pretty
fishing port of Volendam, full of traditional dress,
Flemish shops, bars and cafes. We finish off in the
bustling capital city of Amsterdam with it’s shopping,
museums, canals and history. Passport is required.

SKEGNESS
After such a great tour in 2017 we have listened to
your comments and requests. So, we return to the seafront County Hotel in Skegness renowned for
good weather, long sandy beaches and fun. We will enjoy great excursions down this glorious
coastline taking in Mabelthorpe, Chapel St
Leonards etc. A not to be missed tour.

We return to this mystical island of narrow roads and
thatched cottages situated in the Solent fondly known
as the land that time forgot. We’ll be well looked after

Osbourne House and Gardens, former home of
Queen Victoria, designed for her by Prince Albert.

Shakespeare’s Stratford-Upon-Avon, also birthplace

vast location. A haven to the Red Kite Bird and other
wildlife, the dams and aquaducts built over 100 years
ago feed fresh water to the Midlands. On board we
have one of the Rhyaddar Rangers to guide us through

Glen Usk hotel, centrally located in the pretty and
quiet Welsh market town of Llandrindod Wells.

IRELAND’S WICKLOW
MOUNTAINS, GARDENS
AND COAST Explore the rolling hills of County Wicklow with
excursions to Glendalough and Avoca, and two lovely
garden visits on this tour based in the bustling
seaside town of Arklow on this unmissable new tour.
Arriving in Ireland by ferry we make our way to our
hotel, the magnificent Arklow Bay Hotel which boasts
great Irish cuisine, spacious accommodation, local
entertainment, a gym, spa and pool.
We spend the following days discovering Southern Ireland’s best kept gems; the impressive
manicured gardens and waterfall at Powerscourt Estate, The Irish Stud guided tour &
museum at Kildare (entrance included), Wicklow Mountains National Park, The finest
Japanese Gardens in Europe (Admission Included) and the beautiful village of Glendaloch.
Before we return back to England we have free time in the capital city of Dublin with great
shopping, the River Liffy and its mass of culture. Our final night on this 6 day tour will be at
The Beaufort Park Hotel, North Wales, making the journey home shorter and more restful.

CABARET WEEK
The Royal Alexandra hotel is located in the centre of
Blackpool minutes from the beach, shops and
theatres. Each evening there is at least 2 live acts and
cash bingo so if you like good entertainment and
cabaret this is an ideal holiday. The illuminations will
be on so, we will have a coach tour down the “lights”.
Two excursions down the Fylde Coast are included.
This is a traditional old “wakes week” style tour.
Please kindly note this hotel is unsuitable with those with scooters or walking aids.

NORTH WALES We begin the festivities on the coach down to
Llandudno with Mince Pies, Sherry and Chocolates
where we are staying at the seafront 4 Saints Hotel for
a traditional Christmas which includes festive lunch
with all the trimmings, gala dinner, live entertainment
and maybe a visit from a Yuletide VIP!! There’s a trip to
Anglesey and great local Boxing Day sales. All the
stops have been pulled out to make this Christmas
one to remember.

CAROLS TRAVELS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Payment: A non-returnable deposit of £50 per tour is payable on booking, the final balance date
will be advised but is usually between 6 to 8 weeks prior to travel.
Insurance: Carols Travel advise all passengers to take out insurance prior to travel, this is
compulsory on all European (Non UK) tours.
Passports: Where applicable, valid passports are required for all non UK travel.
Cancellations: If you cancel your holiday you must do this in writing and the cancellation will start
on the receipt of this.
Cancellations received in writing 43 days or more prior to departure you will receive 100% of your
holiday cost less your £50 deposit.
Cancellations received in writing between 31 to 35 days before departure you will receive 50% of
your holiday cost minus your £50 deposit
If you cancel less than 30 days prior to departure you will receive 0% of the cost of your holiday. Your
place can be transferred to another person with an administration fee of £10 per person.
Carols Travel have no liability for any cancellations occurring which are beyond the control of Carols
Travel due to natural disasters, port closures, acts of war, adverse weather or road conditions.
Alterations: Carols Travel reserve the right to alter any tour itinerary due to road or weather
conditions etc. Carols Travel reserve the right to change the advertised hotel for reasons such as
closure, change of hotel management or policy, sickness at the hotel or danger to our clients.
Safety: On every journey advice will be given on safety whilst travelling on the coach, it is in the
interest of the passenger to adhere to this advice and information
Luggage: One medium size case per person (max weight 40lbs / 18kg) and hand luggage that
can be safely stored under your seat or in the overhead lockers
We request any tour with more than one hotel you also bring an overnight bag which can be stored
at the front of the luggage compartment, this can therefore be unloaded instead of your main
suitcase.
Special Needs: Any passenger with any special needs (e.g. diet, medical) or special type of room
(e.g. shower or wet room etc) it is essential that you contact us whilst booking then we can make the
necessary arrangements.
Seat and Room Allocation: Every effort will be made to provide precisely the hotel room
requested and we will convey this request direct to the hotelier , we must stress however we can not
guarantee any request. With regards to coach seating again we will endeavour to seat you in the
area of the coach you request however this can depend on the popularity of the tour and this will be
allocated on a first come basis.
Mobility Aids: Walkers, mobility scooters or any other walking aid must be disclosed at the point of
booking and on some tours this may be restricted. If you do not disclose at the time of booking that
you need space for a walking aid, you may not be allowed to travel on departure day.
Complaints procedure: Should you have a complaint about any aspect of holiday, kindly notify
one of the coach crew so that the problem can be swiftly resolved, if this cannot be resolved you
must send this complaint in writing within 21 days to our offices.
