Put soiled laundry into washing machine. DO NOT SHAKE laundry. Ensure correct amount of soap and hot water is used Before removing clean laundry from dryer, ensure to donn a clean disposable gown & clean gloves. DO NOT TOUCH soiled laundry while working with clean laundry. DO NOT SHAKE laundry at any time. Either fold pieces individually from the dryer or put into a basket & take to individuals room & fold. Take soiled laundry from individuals room wearing current appropriate PPE and holding laundry/basket away from your body. Only one persons laundry at a time. To transfer clean, wet clothes from washer to dryer. Ensure clean gloves and gown are donned prior to doing so. A disposable gown may be donned over top of a reusable gown to complete this task and then disposed of immediately after Repeat steps for each load. Make sure you never go back ie: DO NOT TOUCH SOILED LAUNDRY when working with clean laundry.
