STEP ONE

Cut your choice of Cosmo

Cricket paper and one piece of

Grungepaper to 12" X 8 1/2"

STEP TWO

Cut and adhere Heat n Bond

Vinyl to the Cosmo Cricket

paper using iron. (Follow

manufacturers directions) Put

down a protective paper on

the ironing board under the

paper. Use paper you removed

from the vinyl to cover the

vinyl while ironing.

STEP THREE

Cut away paper and vinyl

around the edges. I use my

paper cutter for this.

STEP FOUR

Cut different images from paper

and design your purse. After you

have figured out which images

you will be using, cut a piece of

Grungepaper to match each

image. Follow STEP TWO and

STEP THREE.

STEP FIVE

Cut you Cosmo Cricket paper

and your Grungepaper in half.

Your new size will now be 8

1/2" x 6". Choose your thread

color. It is time to start sewing

your purse together.

STEP SIX

Sew each of your images onto front and

back of your purse. While doing so, you

will put your paper over the Grungepaper.

Then layer your image and Grungepaper

onto front or back of purse. To make this

easier I adhere them lightly in place using

my tape runner.

NOTE

Picture below..... See how I used one of the

COSMO CRICKET Elements

from the Element Deck for the

purse flap/closure

STEP SEVEN

Make a hole with scissor for

metal snap closure. Another

option would be to use Velcro.

If using Velcro, sew in now.

We are only doing one side at

this point.

STEP EIGHT

Attach purse flap to back of

purse.

STEP NINE

Now line up and attach other

half of metal magnetic clasp. Or

the optional Velcro.

STEP TEN

Measure hole for eyelet

and cut out. Attach eyelets

following manufactures

directions.

STEP ELEVEN

Accessorize your purse. This is where I added

the metal #5 (Tim Holtz/Advantus) The clips (7

Gypsies). For the cover of the snap I used a

hardware store find, called a decorator button. I

then added a Hitch (Tim Holtz/Advantus). I

used E6000 glue to adhere it to the snap.

ENJOY!
