Puddle Duck is a beautiful 57’ reverse style cruiser stern
narrowboat built in 2015 by LM Boats (Lymm Marina). She was a
‘Sailaway Plus’, so had gas, water and electrics fitted; the
remainder of the fit out was done by her owner, and a lovely job he
has done. The boat is in superb condition both inside and out.The
large 7’ stern deck houses the Canaline 42hp engine in an
immaculately clean engine room. She only has 534 hours on the
clock. This leads into practically arranged galley; there is a 12v
fridge with icebox, an eye level oven & grill, 4 burner gas
hob, stainless steel sink and a wine rack. There is a huge amount
of storage in here.A breakfast bar sits in between the galley and
the spacious saloon. This hosts a large 3 seater sofabed, 24”
TV/DVD combo and lots of shelving space. A side hatch adds light
and air.Forward of the saloon is the spare bedroom / office. This
has a pair of bunk beds and a huge chest of drawers / desk as well
as a TV/DVD; this room though could offer a variety of options if
double bunks were not required - a dining room, study, nursery,
reading room...many alternatives.The walk through bathroom follows
and it feels very luxurious. There is a large quadrant shower, a
Thetford cassette loo (with spare & unused cassette), a stylish
ceramic wash basin and a heated towel rail. There are useful linen
shelves behind the shower.The forward cabin is the master bedroom.
The bed is a crossbed and very quickly and easily makes up into a
large double. There is a large wardrobe in here, cupboards over the
bed, storage under and a TV/DVD by the doors into the well deck.The
well deck itself is covered by a cratch cover which has clear
panels and is in very good order.She is well equipped. She has a
self seeking satellite system; 230v is from the 2.5kw inverter or
landline, the 3 radiators & towel rail are centrally heated by
the Webasto, hot water is from either engine, immersion or Webasto,
and all lighting is LED. She also has a large bank of batteries.She
is a lovely boat, feeling very spacious for a 57’ boat and perfect
for a family whether for living aboard or holidays afloat.
