Puddle Jumpers is a non profit, non-government

organisation committed to responding to the

social development needs of society's most

vulnerable children and young people.

Priority of our work is reserved for children who

do not live with their birth parents...

We believe all kids matter, and deserve the right

to engage in happy and fun experiences in their

life.

We aim to build resilience in kids to enable them

to believe in themselves, to believe that anything

is possible and help them ‘jump over puddles’

that they have in their own lives.

We aim to share the happiness and adventure of

being children and young people, and simply

encourage kids to be kids, to ‘jump in all the

puddles’

Puddle Jumpers camps & activities are about

providing children with opportunities to reach their full potential.

We do this by providing an environment that is

inclusive and encourages participation, friendship and trust

The fostering of relationships is encouraged

through our high ratio’s of mentoring and care during the young person’s time on camp.

Which means we can cater to individual kids needs & support requirements

Children and Young People aged 5 to 15 years &

Families aged birth to adult years access our

services…

Children are referred to us from

Agencies, Organisations, Hospitals, Schools

(both public & private) as well as from families

themselves.

Most children that come to us have a lot going on

in their lives… financial disadvantage, mental

health, abuse, neglect, poor social skills, low self

esteem and more…

Above all most of the children and young people

that we provide our services to need to spend

some time with some positive role models.

Camps give children…

Social interaction & development of relationships

Building self confidence & self esteem

Learning new skills & gaining knowledge

Building resilience & ability to cope with life’s

situations…

Children are actively involved in setting the code

of conduct for kids on camp, each camp

Children can be whoever they want to be on

camp…whatever that might look like…

There’s lots of positives and affirming activities…

Lots of team building activities…

New challenges… to get through

A whole lot of fun….

And… they learn whoever they are is ok…

They learn they can make friends…

And accept individuals for whoever they are…

They learn there are adults… who care

Delicious, nutritious meals are always on the

menu which helps all on camp
