Purpose of Publishers’ Criteria

These criteria are designed to provide a clear and consistent framework to publishers and curriculum developers as they work to strengthen existing programs and ensure alignment of materials with the Common Core State Standards.

By underscoring what matters most in the Common Core State Standards, the criteria illustrate what shifts should take place in the next generation of curricula.
