Introduction
This course involves practice in developing students’ confidence and ability to deliver public speeches for a variety of purposes and occasions. The course also emphasises speech preparation, speech writing, oral language, visual aids preparation, and speech presentation.

Learning ObjectivesBy the end of the course, students are able
to:
• prepare speeches for various purposes • apply appropriate language for oral
presentations• develop effective audio-visual aids for
presentations • demonstrate confidence and competence
in delivering speeches
