1.0 PURPOSE
The purpose of this procedure is to describe the process of PTSI
equipment outside repair.
2.0 SCOPE
This procedure applies for the following PTSI equipment that
need outside repair from Vendor;a) PTSI operational equipment which
is being repaired/serviced by Workshopb)
PTSI general office equipment

5.0 DEFINITIONS
Outside Repair Terminology used for any PTSI equipment that
needs to be sent to vendor forrepair/exchange
(overhaul)/calibration.
Equipment/Material GatePass Form
The form (PTSI-OPS-BUF-060) that is used as an exit permit by
equipment/materialcarrier when carry out the equipment/material
from PTSI area.
Technical Service AnalysisReport
The form (PTSI-PLT-BUF-013) that is completed by Workshop that
describe thetechnical information about the repaired unit and
approved by User. TSR form is
provided for following condition:- Outside repair
process-Abnormal damage- Requested by user for certain amount of
spare part replacement
6.0
BASIC PRINCIPLES/ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a) Outside repair item in PTSI consist of the following item:-
Unit/equipment which is under repair in PTSI Workshop- Office
equipment that belongs to each PTSI departments
b) Technical Service Analysis Report (PTSI-PLT-BUF-013) must be
provided for unit/equipment under repair in Workshopand get
approval from User, whereas in this form, the justification why the
equipment needs outside repair isdescribed. While for outside
repair of office equipment that belongs to each PTSI departments,
TSR form is not
required to provide
c) Outside repair of PTSI equipment must be performed by vendor
that registered in PTSIs approved vendor. Thevendor to do the
outside repair is assigned by Procurement.
d)
Outside repair work in PTSI consist of:-
Non-frame contract- Frame contract- Sole agent
e)
The outside repair process can be conducted on-site PTSI or at
vendor premises. For outside repair processconducted at vendors
premises, User to complete the equipment/material gate pass form as
referring toEquipment/Material Gate Pass Procedure
(PTSI-OPS-BUPR-002)
f) All PTSI outside repair equipment must be received by Store
and Store to sign DO/DN
