Ducting System

Besides being the ideal insulation for chilled and hot water piping, AEROFLEX

is also used as insulation for all kinds of ducting systems.

AEROFLEX has been favoured over fibrous insulating materials mainly

because of the possible dangers and health hazards caused by fibrous

materials. AEROFLEX made from special modified elastomeric material

ensures long sevice life and can be safely handled without any danger of skin

irritation. It is also not hazardous to health and no special precaution is needed.

AEROFLEX has superior resistance against moisture, fungus growth, vermin

insulation as well as for slot insulation in general.

Due to different film thickness it is possible to achieve almost any degree of insulation. It

is important here that where there is a small winding radius a tape of the least thickness

is chosen, since the possibility of an opening of the insulation could otherwise not be

excluded owing to the inherent stiffness of the firm.

Due to the selection of different adhesive coatings such as heat resistant thermosetting,

Aisle Marking

Anodizing

PSA Tape offers two grades of P.V.C. tape with clean removal rubber

adhesive for anodizing. They are designed to conform tightly to

irregular surfaces, preventing leakage in the masked area, leaving a

clean sharp line.

Electroplating

vinyl, polyester, and nylon backed tapes effectively mask surfaces

during electroplating, by either the dipping or coating process.

Conformable P.V.C. tapes work well for process temperatures less than

176 Degrees F. For higher temperatures or where ketones, chlorinated

hydrocarbon and esters are present, polyester or nylon / silicone tapes

PATCO offers polypropylene and vinyl masking tapes which provide a fine

mask-off on straight, curved, compound surfaces with no tearing or buckling.

They are highly conformable, tough, and solvent resistant. PATCO's masking

Patching - P.V.C. and Plastic

conformable and resistant to oil grease and many solvents.

PSa'a based on polyethylene and polyester screen block tapes provide an

easy to use, effective and economical method of protecting screen borders

and blocking out images. These tapes are conformable, solvent resistant and

Transfer Tapes

Transfer tapes are an unsupported film of adhesive

they can provide excellent conformity on uneven surfaces. applications include

Scrim reinforced transfer tapes

offer similar conformity to conventional transfer tapes ,together with the added

benefit of providing extra strength needed on weak surfaces particularly

suitable for laminating onto foam and rubbers.

Adhesive Transfer Tapes are rolls of free-film pressure-sensitive adhesive

pre-applied to a special release liner. For application, the tape is simply

pressed, adhesive side down, to a surface and the liner is peeled off.

Adhesive Transfer Tapes are used for a variety of bonding and laminating

applications; ranging from gaskets, graphics, and other lightweight materials to

high bonding applications. Adhesive Transfer Tapes allow for good

conformability and good adhesive wet out. Transfer tapes are also used to

selectively island place adhesives on to other substrates prior to die cutting. 47

Tissue Tapes

Good as an all rounder application, tissue tapes provide good conformity

to most surfaces and are hand tearable for ease of application and as

with most of our products are available with levels of adhesion to suit a

wide range of applications.

Available in 1m wide rolls, slit rolls, fingerlift rolls and spools.

Filmic Tapes

Filmic tapes provide additional strength and stability to

otherwise weaker surfaces i.e. Foams, but are particularly

suitable for applying to smoother surfaces where it is possible

to achieve a full contact between the two surfaces.

Flame Retardant Tapes FR or Flame

Resistant Tapes are often interchanged,

but have different meanings for different

applications. Flame or fire retardant

materials keep the fire from spreading
