Because of compression of the hardened jackbolts, Superbolts can pre-load higher that conventional tensioning systems.

Because of action of jackbolts on the hardened washer, Superbolt nut can not distight oneself ( with or without vibrations ) ⇒ Superbolt = security at first !

The compression of jackbolt = elasticity of Superbolt in your bolting system.

• Through turn mouvement, torque comming from ½ coupling and diameter diefference between bolt and boring, the coupling can slide, skid on of the other

• => the bolt have only a 4 points contact, and deform the boring. This action could have consequence if the machine accelerated or disacceleret.

• => Customer hav to change the bolt and re-bore the flange

=> Radial expansion = precise centring from 2 elements

• Axial „Pre-load“, so that the sleeve “maried“ the boring on the surface through radial expansion.

• Through to expansion action, the sleeve – bolt are centering the 2 ½ coupling together

=> The two elements are centered and tightened

• Through to our technology the two elements are working as one elements, without slide, skid possibility

=> The torque is idealy transmitted• Machining tolerance to use Superbolt expansion bolt :

+/- 0,1mm between alignment of boring, tolerance < IT8 through machining and <IT11 for the addition of all parameters

Consequence :=> Bolts quantity can be reduce :1,5 to 2 for the same coupling, and reduce the machining costs, and sure the live of the pieces !...
