PROVOCATIONS I wonder what we can see in this picture? - This is a picture of powder blue surgeonfish. There are many, many fish in the sea of different shapes and colours. However all fish have fins instead of arms and legs, and breathe using gills. Their gills allow them to breathe underwater, meaning they never have to go up to the surface to get air. Fish like to eat all sorts of things, including smaller fish and animals, and plants. I wonder what else we can see in this picture? I wonder what we can see in this picture? - This is a picture of aclownfish or anenomefish. These fish like to live in anenomes.

Anenomes are animals that look like flowers - all the things that looklike petals are actually tentacles that can sting! Scientists don’t really

know how clownfish don’t feel the stings of the anenomes but they do know that the anenomes help the clownfish by giving them a safe place

to hide while the clownfish keeps the anenome clean.

I wonder what we can see in this picture? - This is a picture a school of trevally. Many fish like to travel in groups of the same types of fish. A group of fish is called a ‘school’. Being in a school is good for the fish be-

cause it makes them look like a large animal rather than lots of little fish. A larger animal might be more scary to a predator.
