Mobicents* is the first and only Open Source VoIP Platform certified for JSLEE 1.1 and SIP Servlets 1.1 compliance. Mobicents brings to telecom applications a robust component

model and execution environment. The Mobicents JBoss Communication Platform is the best architecture to create, deploy and manage services and applications integrating voice, video and data across a range of IP and communications networks. It compliments J2EE and drives conver-gence n next generation intelligent applications by leveraging the five following core capabilities:

Mobicents JAIN-SLEE which provides a highly scalable event-driven application server with a robust component model and fault tolerant execution environment. Mobicents JAIN-SLEE is the �rst and only Open Source Platform certi�ed for JAIN-SLEE 1.1 compliance. It complements J2EE to enable convergence of voice, video and data in next generation intelligent applications.

Mobicents Sip Servlets delivers a consistent, open platform on which to develop and deploy portable and distributable SIP and Converged JEE services. It is the �rst open source certi�ed implementation of the SIP Servlet v1.1 (JSR 289 Spec) on top of Tomcat & JBoss containers and strive to feature best performances, security, foster innovation and develop interoperability standards between Sip Servlets and JSLEE so that applications may exploit the strengths of both.

Mobicents Media Server is an open source Java Media Server aimed to:

• Deliver competitive, complete, best-of-breed media gateway functionality featuring highest quality.• Increase flexibility with a media gateway that supports wide variety of call control protocols and scales

down to meet the demands of enterprises and small carrier providers.• React quickly to dynamic market requirements.

Mobicents SIP Presence Service provides presence functionalities to SIP based networks, using standards from IETF, OMA, 3GPP and ETSI. It includes a XDM Server, a Presence Server, a Resource Lists Server (TBA), all implemented on top of Mobicents JAIN SLEE.

Mobicents Diameter provides an open source Diameter implementation, implementing the Base Proto-col as well as some of the most important and widely used applications, allowing a fast development of IMS components, such as Application Server (AS), Home Subscriber Server (HSS), Call Session Control Func-tion (CSCF), Subscriber Location Function (SLF), etc. It is easily extensible to provide support for new applications, be them 3GPP speci�ed or any vendor custom application.
