Providence Performing Arts Center Announces 2017-2018 Season

White Family Foundation Returns as Broadway Series Sponsor

Cranston, RI - White Family Foundation President Marjorie Houston was on hand at PPAC on Tuesday, February 14th for a public event announcing PPAC’s 2017-2018 performance season including its marquee seven-show Broadway Series of musicals.

The 2017-2018 Broadway Series features the Providence debuts of Fun Home, Finding Neverland, Love Never Dies, On Your Feet -The Emilio & Gloria Estefan Musical, The Bodyguard, An American in Paris and Something Rotten!

This is the ninth year that Taco and the White Family Foundation have underwritten the Broadway Series at PPAC. In remarks at the event, Ms. Houston commented that, “As the arts are one of the (Foundation’s) three core focus areas for support, we recognize the vibrant role that PPAC plays in our community and especially how live performance theater enriches our lives.”

PPAC President Lynn Singleton announced that the Tony winning hit Hamilton will be part of the 2018-2019 Broadway series season, with dates to be announced. Broadway Series subscribers will have first access to Hamilton tickets in what is sure to be a sold-out run.

PPAC’s 2017-2018 season marks its 40th anniversary presenting the best of Broadway in the Capital City.
