By Profession of Faith...making a public commitment to Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord and being publicly baptized by immersion at one of our worship services.

By Transfer of Letter...from another Baptist church of which you are currently a member and if you have been baptized by immersion after your conversion experience.

By Statement of Conversion and Baptism by Immersion...If your church records are not available (lost, church disbanded, etc.) or with another denomination of like faith and order, you may join Providence by your statement you have accepted Christ as Savior and Lord and that you were baptized by immersion after your conversion.

By Watchcare...If you desire to participate in the life of our church while retaining your membership in your present church, you may come under the Watchcare of our church. This allows you to fully participate in the fellowship of Providence, with the exclusion of voting in church conferences.

MINISTRIESMEN’S MINISTRY

This is an exciting opportunity for all men. Whether it is rebuilding homes in the Lee County community, or having breakfast on a Saturday morning, this is a great way for men to have fellowship and answer God’s call.

WOVEN: WOMEN’S MINISTRYThe Women of the Vine Encouraging and Nurturing is a great ministry that helps women become better followers of Christ. For women who want to get involved with missions or grow in their faith through fellowship, WOVEN provides that special guidance, with a woman’s touch.

COLLEGE AND CAREERProvidence is engaging young adults in the community with the College and Career ministry. This ministry supports high school graduates and college students in the Christian faith. With many activities and missions, the College and Career group keeps local college students and young adults involved.

PYOM: YOUTH MINISTRYProvidence Youth on Mission is the mission group for church youth. PYOM provides many activities to encourage middle school and high school students in their Christian walk and provide them with positive mission opportunities.

MUSIC

At Providence, we have a reason to sing. We sing the good news of the Gospel. Our services feature great hymns of expression sung by the congregation and the Providence Baptist Church Choir.

There are 5 choirs at Providence for all ages. We are blessed at Providence to have Dr. Tom Smith as music minister. Our choirs have performed all across the state of Alabama and the world.
