Ladies & Gentlemen,

This year has certainly presented all of us with unusual circumstances. I truly hope that you and your loved ones have

been able to keep some normalcy to life. Better days are ahead for all of us!

Just like schools and local businesses, sports leagues and events all over the world have also been met with unforeseen

obstacles. The WIFFLE Ball Bonanza is no different. For now, we plan to continue to host the WBB on Saturday, Septem-

ber 5th (safety permitting). This year we are hopeful that the Bonanza gives people something to look forward to… a

day filled with great friends and memories.

If you’ve been to the Bonanza or heard our story, you know this is an event unlike any other. Although we have so

much fun on the field, everything we’ve accomplished has happened off the field. Since 2012, the WBB and its partici-

pants have raised over $125,000 for those battling Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). In 2016, we partnered with Children’s Hospi-

tal of Pittsburgh and made it our mission to help T1D patients transitioning from pediatric to adult endocrinology care,

one of the most difficult times for any T1D’er. And like I’ve said before, even now… this disease has no off switch.

We at the Bonanza understand these difficult times and your support for this event, no matter the size, is greatly appre-

ciated. We look forward to seeing you all soon; stay safe!
