Apa itu Jaringan?

A connection between two or more computers so they may exchange information/resources.

Using a network ‘medium’, computers pass information from one to another in an organized fashion using communication rules governed by ‘protocols’.

Aturan atau kesepakatan yang mengatur komunikasi antar dua device. Yang diatur antara lain adalah:

• Deteksi error dan mengeluarkan pesan error

• Melakukan data kompresi

•• Mengatur bagaimana bila satu device melakukan pengiriman, maka yang lain akan mendengarkan

Aturan Penamaan IP

1. Semua komputer yang berada dalam satu segmen TCP/IP harus memiliki NetID yang sama.

2. Tidak ada dua komputer yang memiliki satu HostID yang sama. sama.
