In order to achieve this National Protocol, we are

planning to make several workshops in 2012-2013,

together with the person in charge of the Office of

Wildlife Management of the Mexican Government.

These workshops will be make in the communities

were the manatee abundance is strongly and were

the manatee-human conflicts are commons

(incidental entanglement, incidental watercraft,

coastal development, dams, poaching, others.
