• Android OS is open source • POOR download interface

• Available on lots of devices • Each device requires its own app market

• If you go to provider, it wants to download to a phone number. Few tablet options.

• Examples: Kindle• Flash capable • If you can find it and it works

• Two USB ports- one USB 2 & one mini USB

• Camera • Camera faces only one way-creates major problems using QR codes

• Accepts a mini SD card • Requires a lot of the media to be stored on the SD card

• Unable to get this pad to work with the mini SD card

• ANY function requires more steps than the Apple products

• No music service-does have a player• Will not play mp4• Plays mp3 only

• Problems with video:• Does not play mp4• Does not play Quicktime files• Plays only some AVI files

• Lots of productivity apps • Very few educational apps

Pros Cons

• Allows multiple e-mail accounts including Exchange

• Doesn’t allow Exchange calendar

• Many apps download, but give Parse errors when you try to install or use them

• Problem closing apps-had to download an app killer and still couldn’t close Skype
