ABOUT UNEOS

Universal Networking Empowerment Organization Student (UNEOS) is the Youth organization that aims to provide real movement on education for the realization of global-minded character, strengthening of relational, expressive abilities, and International opportunities.

UNEOS aims to give young students the opportunity to discover a new side of themselves, an interest in International Affairs and organization in particular. We want to see that students are able to change things, strengthen their capacities and ability to express themselves. We want students to discover that all the difficulties, all the topic to discuss and that we are concerned today, can be resolved in environment of respect and mutual understanding.

UNEOS SEOUL 2018 is an annual UNEOS Program collaborating with Korean universities and industries. This program offers an international conference: “The roles of Crucial Driver Sector in Sustaining Economic Growth: Entrepreneur, Technology, Culture”This conference presents various international excursions to give international exposure and broaden the knowledge of youth and an interesting culture excursion for those who cares about preserving the culture to face the global market challenges. Ideas and insights would be wasted away if they are not expressed. The youth needs some kind of platform to express their opinion, especially about the wide subject of boosting economic growth.Considering the data from United Nation (2017), approximately half of the world population lives by earning only US $2 for a day, the number that subjects to a poverty. All members of society, especially the youths, as the stakeholders for better global life, are required to place themselves to resolve this issue. There have been several sectors that we can take for grant to empower the economic growth for our country; entrepreneurs occupying main position in economic, technology becoming one of the source in economic, and culture having broaden its role as both taste in society and commercial product. Examining the roles of crucial sectors, such as entrepreneurs, technology, and culture, in sustaining the economic growth analyzed in different point of view, led by either practitioners or experts, is one of the effort that we, as youth, can do in helping economic growth for our nation particularly, and global generally. How we should start to commit? Do we need collaboration? Let's find out by joining UNEOS SEOUL 2018! Let' us present our best for a better world!

The program includes these learning activities:

MISSIONUNEOS SEOUL 2018 is created for those who yearn for improving understanding vis-à-vis the global economic issues as well as undergoing the culture excursion from the first hand at once.

The objectives of the program are depicted as follows:

GLOBAL ECONOMY INSIGHT: Learning global economy insights and extending comprehension on the topic of the innovation technology and human resource management to improve the economic growth.

CROSS CULTURE ERUDITION: Experiencing the culture of Seoul by visiting the country and getting in touch with the locals.

INTERNATIONAL EXPOSURE: Having a chance to expose oneself through the program and to get international exposure.

CURRICULUM

Global Economy Insight: Delegates may prepare a presentation individually or in

a group (maximum 3 person) regarding to the global economic issues in

accordance with the theme (optional). The best candidate will be scheduled to

present the presentation at the conference.

Cross Culture Erudition: Representatives will learn Korean culture directly form

the natives by observing several districts in Seoul including citizens, customs,

activities, and the like as well as having a chance to interact with the locals by

interacting to the citizens directly. Feeling the atmosphere and immerse with the

society will become a great challenge not to miss out. Delegates may also

introduce or perform Indonesian culture in this program.

International Exposure: All delegates will have a chance to speak up their minds

and to get the international exposure through the conference and excursion.
