Why do we need a unified XML-file?Why do we need a unified XML-file?

- Avalanche Warning Centres transport similar infos

- easy way for data exchange (internal and external)

- prerequisite for a homogenous appearance (with reasonable effort) * standardization of symbols

* standardization of maps

- possibility to combine with GIS

- very high flexibility (e.g. combination with data of automatic weather stations; use for snow-profiles;...)

Part 8: Evaluation of the avalanche situation<EVAL_OF_AVALANCHESITUATION>

Part 9: Structure of the snowcover<STRUCTURE_OF_SNOWCOVER>
