Properties:
ACNEZON has been developed to combat all forms of acne, both non-inflammatory and inflammatory. It regulates and reduces blackheads, regulates
excess oil and sebum, removes dead skin cells and bacteria and provides an enhanced anti-inflammatory effect along with a keratolytic action that helps
normalise skin problems and restore skin tone and appearance. It stimulates the formation of new fibroblasts and repairs blemishes and scarring caused
by acne, producing new collagen and increasing elastin production.
Aqua, Panthenol, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Alcohol, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Salicylic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hamamelis Virginiana Leaf Extract, Zinc Gluconate, EDTA, Pyridoxine HCl, Retinol Palmitate, Lysine HCl, Arginine HCl, Leucine, Valine, Glutamine.
INGREDIENTS
ACNE IMPROVING
Suitable for treating all types of acne, both inflammatory and non-inflammatory.
Regulates and reduces blackheads, regulates excess oil and sebum, removes dead
skin cells and bacteria and has a significant anti-inflammatory effect. Promotes the
formation of new fibroblasts, improves scarring and pockmarks caused by acne,
producing new collagen and increasing elastin production. Its keratolytic action helps
restore skin tone and appearance and regulates problems.
Types of Acne:
A- NON-INFLAMMATORY ACNE:
Closed comedones / whiteheads. If the blocked pore remains below the surface of the skin, the lesion is called a closed comedo or whitehead. These
generally appear as small whitish bumps on the skin. Also known as milia, they are usually caused by an imbalance of oil and moisture and tend to occur
on dehydrated skin where oil/sebum is over-active in order to compensate for the lack of moisture on the skin surface.
Open comedones / blackheads. If the blocked pore becomes enlarged and pushes through the surface of the skin, it is called an open comedo or blac-
khead. Contrary to popular belief, the dark appearance of the blocked pore is not due to dirt, but rather a build-up of melanin, the skin's dark pigment.
Regular exfoliation helps relieve this build-up of melanin and lessen the appearance of blackheads.
B- INFLAMMATORY ACNE
Papules. The mildest form of inflammatory acne, which appear on the skin as small, firm pink bumps. They can almost be mistaken for mosquito bites
and are often an intermediary stage between non-inflammatory and clearly inflammatory acne.
Pustules. Small round, clearly inflamed lesions that contain visible pus. They may appear red at the base, with a yellowish or whitish centre.
Nodules or Cysts. Large, painful, inflamed, pus-filled lesions deep within the skin (subcutaneous). The most severe form of acne lesion, nodules may
persist for weeks or months, their contents hardening into a deep cyst. Both nodules and cysts often leave deep scars that are difficult to eliminate.
Acne Conglobata. This rare but serious form of acnes mainly occurs on the back, buttocks and chest. In addition to the presence of pustules and nodules,
it may also become a severe bacterial infection.
Uses:
ACNEZON can be used to prevent and treat acne on the face or the body.
This active solution effectively penetrates the pores, helping dissolve obstructions and controlling bacteria in acne-prone skin. This unique formula has
been developed to tackle the four factors that trigger acne:
1. Seborrhoea
2. Hyperkeratinisation
3. Microbial colonisation
4. Inflammation
Method of application
Application recommended as a follow-on treatment once treatment with Acnezon Cream has commenced. Application of the cream will assist the disa-
ppearance of active acne, preventing the formation of new pustules, while the active ingredients in Acnezon Ampoules help regulate oil and sebum
production, as well as aiding the elimination of dead tissue leaving cleaner and smoother skin.
Treatment using Microneedles
Application of Acnezon Ampoules via weekly or fortnightly microneedle treatments is recommended (GoldPen or DermicaPen). The combination of Acne-
zon's active ingredients with the natural tissue stimulation produced by microneedling visibly increases and enhances results from the very first treatment.
Blemishes and scars are visibly reduced, improving the appearance of "coarse" skin.
For the best results, a minimum of 4 - 6 sessions at weekly or fortnightly intervals (as advised by the Doctor) is recommended. Continue with one treatment
per month for a further 3 sessions.
Continue to use Acnezon Cream preventively for as long as necessary.
