The mid project report
• Based on your project plan updated version: what is the situation now:– What you have already done? Evaluating, how well
you have reached the goals so far– What are you still going to do? Is there any changes
in plans, circumstances etc?• You can use almost the same headings (see the
project plan instruction), but also create new ones
• At this point you can also describe project’s (theoretical and practical) background a bit clearer, since you actually know more about what you are dealing with and what you actully have done and how…

The mid project report – peer feedback
• Send your report on Monday 8th of April to all of the evaluators by e-mail (see the paper given to your team)
• Read the two reports you have received (and make notes)– Is the report clear and coherent?– Can you clearly see what has been done and what will be
done next in the project?– Is the practical implementation of the project in line with
the theoretical background, context and the aims of the project
– What is especially good in the project and in the report? – What written part still needs some special attention before
the final report?– What kind of ideas or suggestions about the project
implementation you have for the project team?• You will give your comments to the team in a feedback
discussion in our next meeting on Friday 12th of April (if you are not able to join the meeting, send your written feedback to the team before that)

Who will send their report to whom?

Project communication and informing about your project
Discuss as a team:• What are the main target groups that you want to inform
about your project?• What are the main practices, mediums and tools that
you use to inform? Do you use different ways for different target groups?
• What are the main things you want the target groups to know about the project? Are there different things to be informed for different groups?

Digital story
• 2-5 minutes long story that includes pictures, text, narration, video and/or music
• More information:– http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_storytelling– http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKZiXR5qUlQ– Write ”digital story” or ”digital storytelling” to Google or YouTube
In this course, the digital story is the story of your project work: process of your teamwork and learning – the journey during this spring, with all the accomplishments, challenges, emotions etc.• The digital story will be created in three phases
and in the end it will be presented to other students and peer evaluated.

Poster
In this course poster is the more ”official” product that you will present to the client (and could present to the whole world). In poster you don’t describe your learning process or evaluate your teamwork. You tell what the project is about, and what you have done and accomplished during the project.
Making a good poster requires you to summarise the core of the project and express it in (visually and verbally) clear form.
Posters will be peer-evaluated. The instructions for the poster and the quidelines for peer-evaluation will be presented in the next meeting.

Digital story: working phase 1
• Write a script to your digital story– What is the story about (general idea)?– How does the story start, what is the scenario behind
the story?– What are the main events, plot of the story?– How does the story end, what is the conclusion?
• Discuss also about the metaphors or symbols you could use in your story
Once upon a time...
