PROJECT REPORT ON
STRATEGICMANAGEMENT
I would like to thank my management and my colleagues specially Himanshu Garg who helped
me in understanding the strategy for Dream Mansions Pvt. Ltd. and how the organization aims
for its vision and mission.
It makes me feel great to convey regards and thanks to Mr Manoj Thomas, our faculty in charge
for this subject and project for helping me understand why strategy management is important to
identify the company¶s vision, mission & goals and how it helps us have a clear status of
strength, weaknesses opportunities & threats which shapes the future and stability of a company.
I have taken basic information about Dream Mansions Pvt. Ltd. vision and mission from their
website because it was necessary to understand their strategy.

To be a respected corporation that offers the most competitive investment plans in a
transparent manner through the sale of innovatively conceptualized real estate options,thereby providing true customer delight.
Dream Mansions Pvt. Ltd. believes in providing a niche real estate product. DMPL delivers
quality rather than quantity. Unlike other major real estate developers they keep transparency in
transactions and development. After sales service and healthy ROI (Return on investment) is
another key factor in their mind.

1. Leading Real Estate developer with conceptualized architecture and specialist in
second/vacation homes2. To develop a likeminded commune of elite investors.

DREAM MANSIONS PVT LTD MISSION INCLUDES:
1. Attraction of smart investors
DMPL sells its products on covered area basis unlike the other developers who usually
sell their product on super area basis. It tries to attract the smart investors as it does not
charge for the loading component.
2. Joint Venture with Mr Vijay Suri
As section 118 of Indian Constitution is applicable in Himachal Pradesh which says that a
non-himachal resident cannot buy the property in Himachal in his/her name until unless
the project is licensed. Also there is a condition that licenses can be issued only in the
name of any registered agriculturist (Himachal native). Mr Vijay Suri (founder of ATS
Greens) has two licenses out of six released in 2010.
3. Promotion of Tuscan Architecture on hills
DMPL believes in blending the type of architecture used with the environment in which
the construction is being done. Tuscan Architecture is an Italian Architecture which uses
lots of rock, stone, iron and wood. Studio K.I.A. is an international architectural firm
which is one of the best for such architectures. DMPL has tied up with Studio K.I.A. for
all of their projects in future coming on hills.

The DMPL management has made multi pillared strategy which gives an advantage to the
organization on the other competitors.
y Fully furnished apartments and cottages with 4 star level. Keeping Knight Frank as
their hospitality vendors DMPL ensures good hospitality. y Selling on covered area basis. Attracts the smart and intelligent investors.
y Conceptualized architecture. Studio KIA ensures the best of conceptualized
architecture.
y Site at hill tops only. 360 degree view.
y Convenient approaches to the site. Attracts even the people of old age.
y World class facilities in the club. Most of the daily need and luxuries in the bounded
campus.
y High ROI by making a joint venture with makemytrip.com and Knight Frank.
Ending the myth that holiday homes are not dead investment.
y Availability of small ticket size. Even people with small budget can think of purchasing
a luxury property.
To analyze the strategy for DMPL we go through the SWOT analysis and the competitive
analysis.

Conclusion:
The above details mentioned on DMPL¶s goals I would like to conclude that
1. DMPL¶s strategy in getting license from himachal Pradesh government for the
construction of luxury apartments is a major breakthrough among its competitors.
2. At the first look it seems that the prices of DMPL are more than some competitors.
But as the pricing on covered area is calculated DMPL is the cheapest option
available.
3. With all the salient features of DMPL¶s product it provides a good platform to the
organization to perform well even under the participation of big giants like DLF etc.
