Performance is at the top of the class. They serve as models for the district.

Performance is very close to “excelling” but not quite there. They show great promise in crossing the threshold to reach top tier.

Performance is at an acceptable level. Higher performance levels are expected, but these schools do not give district cause for concern.

Performance is at an unacceptable level. While not in need of the most intensive district intervention, these schools are on alert and need an

aggressive strategic plan for improvement.

Performance is at a highly unacceptable level. They are in need of intensive district intervention.

Identifying the “first follower”

1:1 Meetings

Religious Centers

Neighborhood Gathering

Community activities

Identify parents, friends, and family members that might be interested in being active around quality schools in Nashville. Meet with them individually & talk about what you learned today.

Talk to people you attend church with, ask if they want to learn more about quality education and set up a meeting.

Invite your neighbors over to your home or visit them in their home and ask them if they want to learn more quality education.

From the salon, barber shop, to youth athletic leagues, every instance is an opportunity to discuss quality education. You are the messengers.
