Backgrounds: Heat duty of diesel rundown Air Fin Coolers (AFC) in Diesel Hydrodesulphurization units (DHDS) was one of the highest in the refinery. It was proposed to carry out a study and design ORC based system to recover waste heat from the diesel stream going to Air Fin Coolers to produce electricity.
Project description: Analysis of ORC modules implementation possibility for waste heat recovery; development of optimal flowcharts for ORC modules implementation; economical and technical feasibility study of ORC modules implementation; HAZOP study
