Sciame headed the renovation of GE Energy’s 250,000 square foot property at 800 Long Ridge Road in Stamford, CT. The architectural design, handled by Perkins Eastman, covers 4 separate floors that are roughly 62,500 square feet each. Pre-Renovation 3D Alignment Study Theometrics was commissioned to conduct a number of studies and produce drawings and layouts in order to help the project progress more efficiently. The full-range of services provided were As- Built studies; topographical studies; alignment of existing drawings to design drawings; and identification of variance, issue, or “bust,” the deviation between actual and proposed conditions. To ensure complete accuracy, TheoTechs transferred the drawings from CAD to real space and Layout Artisans painted the layout onto the deck in an intricate area of concern on the second floor, helping to avert any issues that may have otherwise arisen. Theometrics is the art and science of precision measurement and navigation in and on construction sites. Our innovative technology navigates users with laser-sharp accuracy, from any point, on any CAD drawing or BIM model, to the exact specified field location. Theometrics’ technology also enables exact, automated measurement and creation of real-time 2D or 3D CAD drawings in the field. Theometrics is the first and only company in the world to establish this Missing Bridge™ between CAD and the field: the transfer of CAD design precision to and from the construction site in real-time. F.J. Sciame headed the renovation of GE Energy’s 250,000 square foot property at 800 Long Ridge Road in Stamford, CT. The architectural design, handled by Perkins Eastman, covers 4 separate oors that are roughly 62,500 square feet each.

Pre-Renovation 3D Alignment Study Theometrics was commissioned to conduct a number of studies and produce drawings and layouts in order to help the project progress more eciently. The full-range of services provided were As-Built studies; topographical studies; alignment of existing drawings to design drawings; and identication of variance, issue, or “bust,” the deviation between actual and proposed conditions. To ensure complete accuracy, TheoTechs transferred the drawings from CAD to real space and Layout Artisans painted the layout onto the deck in an intricate area of concern on the second oor, helping to avert any issues that may have otherwise arisen.

Theometrics is the art and science of precision measurement and navigation in and on construction sites. Our innovative technology navigates users with laser-sharp accuracy, from any point, on any CAD drawing or BIM model, to the exact specied eld location. Theometrics’ technology also enables exact, automated measurement and creation of real-time 2D or 3D CAD drawings in the eld. Theometrics is the rst and only company in the world to establish this Missing Bridge™ between CAD and the eld: the transfer of CAD design precision to and from the construction site in real-time.
