Circle Map with Frame of Reference a. Draw a circle in the center of the chart paper with a

smaller circle in the middle.

b. In the middle of the smaller circle, write the words “peer assessment”

c. In the outside circle, write words and phrases you associate with the concept in the inner circle. Use one marker color.

d. Reread what you have written and collapse the ideas into categories. Write the categories in the upper corners.

e. Now consider the frame of reference of parents or students. With a new marker color, circle the ideas that one of those groups might have included on their map.

f. If new ideas are generated, write those in the lower corners.
