Aims of the projects Expected results

Modernization and strengthening of institutional capacities of the Tax Administration through:

- growing of Tax Administration into a client

designed tax administration - strengthening of institutional capacity of Tax

Administration in basic functions–audit,

collection and improvement of the system for

monitoring of professional knowledge of TA

employees- introduction of a system of electronic filing and

management of documentation with the aim of

creating conditions for a more efficient operation

of the tax administration- strengthening of functions of the Tax Police in

the process of detection of tax crimes - improvement of decision making process and

reporting functions of TA management

- increased efficiency in the work of TA in

the area of assessment, collection and audit

of public revenues

- strong administrative capacity in the TA

basic functions – audit and collection

- established and implemented Document

Management System (DMS) in the Tax

Administration

- increased capacity of the Tax Police in

detection of tax crimes

- implemented data management system and

improved decision making process

2) Establishment of the System of State Aid Control

Aims of the projects Expected results

- modernization and more efficient operation

of the Treasury, adjusted to EU standards

by creating a unique document system

which provides fast, efficient, secure,

reliable and timely access to documents

- to establish the system of control of state

aid granting and utilization with the aim of

preserving market competition and

spurring the economic development

- upgrading of internal organization and

management of work flows and procedures

- creation of unique document base- forming of a reliable and quality electronic

archive of documents- enhancement of general efficiency and

productivity- reduction of operation costs- successful operation of the State Aid control

system- to achieve full transparency of the State Aid

control by means of regular annual reporting

- to draw up an inventory of the existing state aid- to ensure that national regulations are

harmonized with the EU acquis communautaire- to build capacities and ensure proper application

of the Law on State Aid Control and the relevant
