The eight Annual Industry Days in Luxembourg

Welcome to the SES Industry Days 2015 in Luxembourg. Since our conference last year several new developments have accelerated in our industry such as the definition of advanced satellite payloads offering a significantly higher throughput per satellite, the second phase of the Ultra HD standardization, new solutions such as HbbTV 2.0 and Push VOD for providing additional content offerings via satellite to consumers and last but not least new technology for distributing satellite delivered content in a secure manner on in-home IP networks.

Industry Days 2015 brings an exciting and comprehensive conference programme where specialists from the European Space Agency, from the European Broadcasting Union, from SES and from leading equipment and chip manufacturers will discuss and examine these new developments.

Once again Industry Days will be more than a conference: it is a platform to discuss and network with far over 200 industry colleagues from all over the world. But there is even more: please visit the over 20 booths of our industry partners who will exhibit their latest products and product developments and sound out new product solutions that could benefit your business.

All this wouldn’t have been possible without the contributions of our speakers, exhibitors and the dedicated support of the SES Industry Days team and I would like to sincerely thank you all for your work and commitments towards making this event a success.

Thomas Wrede VP, Reception Systems, SES
