Animal Centred Education (ACE) is an integrated approach to animal wellbeing and education. It incorporates methods developed by Sarah Fisher at Tilley Farm.

Aimed at those working in dog facing roles within a rescue/shelter, this two day programme looks at enhancing observational and handling skills with a particular focus on the application and relevance to dogs in a rescue/shelter environment.

The programme introduces Free Work including basic observations, gentle handling where appropriate and, other techniques to build trust, relaxation and confidence.

Engaging with Battersea dogs, the programme combines practical activities with additional observation of videos and photographs.

If you would like to attend this programme please email [email protected] or register your interest here: Battersea.org.uk/register-your-interest-battersea-academy
