Monday, June 1 @ 7PMJoin pianist and historian Richard Glazier as he weaves together interviews, piano performances, and commentary to create a unique view of Broadway and Hollywood through music. Glazier explores the history of the great music that has been written for Broadway musicals and Hollywood films and television, sharing his lifetime love of each, as well as his proven talent as a host/narrator and pianist.

This 2002 dramatic miniseries chronicles the lives of an English family over 34 years from

the Victorian era through World War I. Damian Lewis, Gina McKee and Ioan Gruffudd star,

of the same name.

Almost 40 years ago Captain Ross Poldark galloped across the TV screens of millions of PBS viewers, vexing villains and winning female hearts in one of MASTERPIECE’s earliest hit series, Poldark. Now the gallant captain rides again in a thrilling new version with all the action, adventure, and romance of the original, plus even more spectacular Cornish scenery and rousing local color. Aidan Turner (The Hobbit) stars as Ross Poldark, a redcoat who returns to Cornwall after the American Revolutionary War to discover that his father is dead, his lands are ruined, and his true love is about to marry his first cousin.

Met debut with a lavish new staging of Lehár’s effervescent operetta.

Soprano Renée Fleming adds a new character to her Met repertory as Hanna, the

widowed millionairess.

talent Brian Wilson performs with his 12-piece band along with special guests Nate Rues

from Fun.; Beach Boys co-founder Al Jardine and renowned guitarist Blondie Chaplin;

singer/songwriter actress Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward (She & Him); Capital Cities’ Sebu Simonian; Grammy-winning country star Kacey Musgraves; and jazz trumpeter/

composer Mark Isham.


Oona Chaplin stars in a drama about WWI’s frontline medics — their hopes, fears, triumphs and tragedies. In a tented field hospital on the coast of France, a team of doctors, nurses and women volunteers works together to heal the

bodies and souls of men wounded in the trenches. The hospital is a frontier: between the battlefield and home front but also between the old rules,

hierarchies and a new way of thinking.Enjoy the third season of this award-winning series that celebrates life and

love. Celia and Alan plan to make the most of their time together, Caroline and Kate

settle into married life and old habits come back to haunt Gillian.

Sunday, June 7, Midnight, Music City Roots will air each week. This televised edition of the live radio show, delivers the eclectic sound of the new Nashville. Former Grand Ole Opry announcer Keith Bilbrey emcees with the help of Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Jim Lauderdale and journalist Craig Havighurt, who interviews the musicians following each performance.

Sunday, June 14, 4:30 p.m., Well Read will replace Theater Talk. This program features lively, engaging

conversations about ideas in literature. Host Terry Tazioli introduces the latest books — both fiction and non-fiction — and interviews noted authors about the

themes in their latest works.

Sunday, June 14, 6:00 p.m., Jessica Lynn - Takin' Over: Live at the Paramount will air. Fresh off of a national tour where she shared stages with Brad Paisley, Hank Williams Jr., Montgomery Gentry, Jake Owen, Sammy Kershaw and others, Jessica hit the stage in New York's famed Paramount Theater to film this fun filled, colorful, family music special.

Sunday, June 21, 6:00 p.m., The Best of Boston Pops will air. Hosted by Pops conductor Keith Lockhart, the documentary tells the orchestra's story-from its beginning as summertime entertainment for Bostonians to its current role as a national icon and beloved institution.

Regular scheduled programs will be preempted.

Sunday, June 28, 6:00 p.m., No Evidence of Disease will air. Follow a unique rock band made up of six gynecologic oncology surgeons from across the country who are taking healing and the arts to a new level (the band’s name comes from the four words every patient prays to hear, “No Evidence of Disease”).
