AAravind believes that modern manufacturing is driven by two forces: continuous innovation and uninhibited collaboration. To that end, he has built a global ecosystem that drives scale and eciency through organic growth as well as acquisitions. Aequs’ global reach extends beyond its facilities in Belagavi, India, to North America and Europe. These sites are strategically located in cost-competitive regions and in close proximity to its strategic customer base. This operating model optimizes the value stream for customers by reducing lead times and simplifying logistics.

IIn addition to its global holdings, Aequs’ portfolio include joint venture partnerships with world-class companies Aubert & Duval, Magellan Aerospace and Saab AB dedicated to forging, special processing, and assembly respectively.

UUnder Aravind’s strong leadership, Aequs Aerospace has achieved many of firsts for India in the commercial aerospace sector, including securing orders from global giants like Airbus and Boeing. In a span of ten years, Aequs has established itself as the top Detailed Parts Partner (D2P) for Airbus and also as one of the main subcontractors of the French aerospace industry.

AAravind serves on the board of QuEST Global, a company he co-founded in 1997, which is a globally recognized provider of outsourced engineering services with presence in multiple countries worldwide.

AAravind holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. He has been conferred the ’Young Achiever Award’ by the Indo-American Society and ‘Super Entrepreneur 2019’ award by The Machinist (India) magazine.
