Congenital Anomalies in Live-‐Born Infants in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. This was a Retrospective analysis of the Medical Records of a total 58, 207 live-‐born Saudi infants in the three (3) major hospitals in the Eastern
Province over a period of five (5) years. The objective of the study was to determine the pattern of congenital anomalies. Abnormalities were detected in 579 infants representing an
overall incidence of 8.5/1000 live births.
