Redesigned ACCT 216 For AY13/14, I redesigned ACCT 216 and taught with the revised course format. Previous to AY13/14, ACCT 216 was really a baby systems course. That was not its original intent when it was first made a requirement for accounting majors, but over time it evolved into that type of course. The accounting department decided that the course really needed to function as a bridge course from ACCT 201 to ACCT 301. The intent was to better prepare accounting majors for the rigors of Intermediate Accounting.
