Profe Bares 4th Grade Spanish Calendar of Spanish activities for remote learning

There are songs/videos, Quizlet vocabulary links, practice worksheets, Google presentations, etc. Rockalingua: rockalingua.com I have a created a generic username/password for everyone to use. You can access all of the songs/videos that we use in class. There are also worksheet practices and GAMES! Username: profebares Password: spanish Quizlet: quizlet.com You do not need a login for Quizlet. Go to search and enter “lisabares 4th grade” and all of our Quizlet sets will appear. They are also linked on my website for each unit. Quizlet has vocabulary practices (writing, spelling, practice tests and GAMES!)

(Friday) Watch and sing Rockalingua video: ¿Cómo te llamas? What’s your name? Download and complete worksheet.
Make a comic (either on paper or online)--. Choose 2 characters and create a basic conversation in Spanish: greeting, how are you?, name, age, where do you live, good-bye, etc.
Go to the Quizlet set for Unidad 1 and do a couple of the practice activities and then play a game.
Search and watch the Basho & Friends video on Youtube: ¿Cómo te llamas?
Search and watch the following video on Youtube: NEEM 1 Unidad 1 Hola, ¿qué tal? www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bj-fAlHK2rM Then using Seesaw create a similar video introducing your own family.
Watch and sing Rockalingua video: Colorín Colorado Colors and numbers Download and complete worksheet or play colors game.
Make a cootie catcher. Label with numbers and colors in Spanish. Write the fortunes related to what you can do/see/experience in Argentina. For example: You will eat empanadas. You will visit el glaciar: Perito Moreno.
Go to the Quizlet set for Unidad 2 and do a couple of the practice activities and then play a game.
Go on Google maps or Google Earth and locate Argentina. Then find the following places: la capital- Buenos Aires
la montaña- los Andes
la cascada- Iguacu Falls
el glaciar- Perito Moreno
Go to my website and download a color by number under the Unidad 2 tab. Complete the color by number.

Take a picture of your family. Label your family members in Spanish. Bonus: write family member’s names and age in Spanish. Se llama… Tiene_ años. PicCollage is a fun app.
Go to the Quizlet set for Unidad 3 and do a couple of the practice activities and then play a game.
Watch and sing Rockalingua video: Mi casa Rooms of the house Play My House game.
Go to Unidad 3 on my website and download Práctica_Cuadros de familia. Complete the practice worksheet.
Watch and sing Rockalingua video: Los días de la semana Days of the week Play Days of the week game.
Make or print a calendar. Write the days of the week and month in Spanish. Then fill in at least five activities of what you are doing or places that you are going in Spanish.
Go to the Quizlet set for Unidad 4and do a couple of the practice activities and then play a game.
Act out an activity from our vocab list. Ask a family member to guess it and you say the word in Spanish. OR record yourself on Seesaw acting out vocab and saying the word in Spanish.
Choose a craft/activity related to a holiday that we studied: cumpleaños—make a paper bag piñata Cinco de mayo- teach your family the Mexican hat dance or make a maraca with a plastic egg and spoons and masking tape. Día de los Muertos- color a calavera (skull) or make pan de muerto
