•regulated as a «normal» bicycle (allowed to use bike path)

WHERE AND HOW
Solar Panels(2200 mq2)
Location of the charging stations
•Pilot project: 100/200 bikes
•Loan for bikes
•Free charge (0,12€)
50%of costs payed by students (in 5 years)
50%of costs payed by Politecnico
• government incentives corresponding to the 50% of the total cost for solar panels installation

Panels + bicycles = saving
A solar panel (1kWp 7m2) in Torino produces about 1340 kWh per year
2200 mq2 produce 421000 kWh per year
Assuming a battery capacity about 10 Ah @ 36V , the requirement is about 72 W
Energy produced and not used, especially during summer, can be entered in the electricity grid or used by the Politecnico.

Further developments…The project could be extended to other universities and to new target groups and regions:
World of work: every office or company that has available place.
Possible use of the OGR for the creation of a ecological pole. (OGReen?)
Integration with the TOBike service, by the installation of the charging stations in the current stations.
