it uses your LAN for unsurpassed access,

camera portability and cost-effectiveness.

DVM’s powerful software makes it

possible to simultaneously view and

record images from a single camera

and change frame rates as desired. The

airport security director and operations

and emergency response personnel

can view the same image from the

same camera at the same time from

their desktop PCs.

Images are stored in a digital database,

permitting fast, search-enabled retrieval

while eliminating cumbersome videotape

storage. DVM can also be integrated with

your access control system to provide

unparalleled event- and alarm-activated

recording, capturing only the footage

you need.

The Honeywell Asset Locator™ application

provides the real-time location of tagged

equipment and people as they move about

the airport’s gates, concourses and tenanted

areas. The wireless IR/RF tags transmit

low-power signals to ceiling-mounted

readers so movements are continually

tracked. In an emergency, the tagholder

simply presses the tag to sound an

alarm. Your staff saves time pinpointing

the location of key personnel. They can

help law enforcement officers (LEOs)

quickly reach an employee with an

emergency, and they have the information

to determine when tagged people are in

locations they don’t belong.

Smoke and Fire

Early fire detection and evacuation is

critical in an environment as busy as an

airport. Our lifesafety solution provides

convenient, efficient primary monitoring

and full control of your airport’s smoke

and fire detection systems. The solution

is the first to be UL-listed to operate

on an Ethernet LAN. Your operators

can acknowledge alarms, command

points and reset the system

directly from their workstations,

rather than having to perform these

functions from a separate UL-listed fire

alarm panel or PC. Smart multisensor

detectors provide early warning of

smoke and fire conditions while virtually

eliminating false alarms. The system
