WE BELIEVE IN TECHNOLOGY BUILT TO WITHSTAND DISRUPTION AND ADAPT TO CHANGE.

FORK Is The Outcome Of Our Beliefs.

If you think change is the enemy, you will end up fighting it.This is a tragic miscalculation. Because if there anything certain in human history

it is that change eventually wins.

We believe media should be free to be managed on any hardware platform.

We believe media should be ingestible, editable, and distributable from anywhere and everywhere.

We believe media should be instantly adaptable to the infinite number of outlets that exist in the modern world.

We believe media should be free to meet all the changes the future will bring.

We believe the purpose of technology is to further freedom and render limits obsolete.

FORK Production Suite™

Videotape has a limited lifespan. FORK Archive accelerates the process of digitizing and archiving your video libraries. Utilizing our unique patent pending process, FORK Automated Timecode Scanner (ATS) checks tapes for timecode breaks, accurate to within one frame of video. When the ATS finds a suspected break, FORK alerts the user but doesn’t interrupt the ingest. Instead, it takes in the whole tape, and creates subclips.

FORK Archive manages the long term storage of all footage ingested and produced throughout the production process, simplifying the safe backup and archiving of massive amounts of data.

• Leverages solutions from leaders such as Atempo™, Archiware™ and Front Porch Digital™.

• Simplifies media management through metadata and clip formatting.

• Leverage various formats securely and intelligently.

• Drop folders automate media and library archiving.

Mobile2Air® maximizes the built-in video capabilities of the iPhone to provide the best possible native video quality. Mobile2Air® can seamlessly use 3G and Wi-Fi connections for footage uploading, making faster than real-time transmission of content possible directly from remote locations.

The solution employs powerful security features to protect content transmission from field to broadcast. An SSL connection between the Mobile2Air® client and server along with unique iPhone unit identification protocols add secure methods for authentication as well as two-way data communication.

Mobile2Air® users enter metadata such as video title, subject and location before transmitting content. Metadata such as the username and satellite coordinate-accurate recording location are also automatically captured and available in the FORK Automation Environment upon receipt and ingest.

The Mobile2Air® iPhone client is easily installed by the end user via the standard iTunes Application available for Mac and PC. This helps facilitate remote bureau setup while saving on training and administrator costs.

Mobile2Air® Solution

Mobile2Air® consists of 3 primary components: The iPhone client application, the server-based Command and Control Web application and the Primestream iPhone gateway. These component function together with optimise integration permitting the entire process from location shooting to broadcast to occur in as little as 3 minutes.

FORK’s Command and Control Web Application map interface allows an operator to monitor all remote users and content being uploaded to the system. The interface has an embedded chat utility, facilitating task distribution and user status reports.

Mobile2Air® seamlessly integrates with the FORK Automation Environment through the Primestream smartphone gateway, allowing for instant editor and playout access to received media. As incoming video arrives to the FORK server, Edit2Playout automatically converts it to the house codec, placing it on shared server space while maintaining all the original metadata and aspect ratio.

In this web based application, operators can communicate and view video recorded by reporters or video contributors.

Chat with reporters or video contributors

Click to view videos by the location where it was recorded

Upon login, the reporters location is sent to the Mobile2Air Command and Control Center.

Each video contains location metadata to provide administrators the ability to search and organize clips.

FORK Content Navigator (MAM)

The Mobile2Air® iPhone application is an intuitive, self-contained video capture and broadcast environment. Users shoot video directly with the iPhone’s built-in camera or choose existing clips from the app’s Video Library. Next, they add metadata and publish video directly to previously designated servers. The application provides upload status details while permitting simultaneous messaging with receiving personnel.
